Thumbs up Video game sightings?

Hey Y'all,

I have been seeing a lot of 80's arcade style games in restaurants here in town and it's blowin' my mind! I haven't seen these in years, only the sleek new games of today. Anyways, are there any places that you see old style arcade games and it just freaks you out, in a nice way?

Only old arcade games I ever see are those at travelling amusement parks...If one of those parks are just remotely near where I live, I'm there....Just love to play these old machines...Reminiscing

I found an arcade in an airport that had Centipede, Galaga, 1943, and several others. Needless to say, I spent some time in there (almost caused me to miss my friend I was supposed to pick up ).

Well there used to be this pizza hut down the street that had some old arcade games, like golden axe and stuff. And I think these's still a papa gino's that has some old ones as well. Salem Willows has ALOT of older stuff, which I love.

Do they still have those ancient pinball machines that have slots for 5 cents? Those things were pretty cool. Or what about that western game that's like an actual movie you play? I haven't been there in soooooo long. I used to go there like everyday way back when Surprised they're still carrying the old games....nice to know though

Lol I remember that western game, I think they got rid of it a few years ago. I don't know about the pinball machines but, they do have those old fashion cartoon viewer thingys for only 10 cents. I was there last week but, didn't really check the arcade too much.

Actually, I remember reading about some people that intended to make a "working" museum about 50 km from where I live with a lot of those great old machines I can't remember exactly where it's located and when it would open, but if I find out I'm definately going to visit Finally a museum worth spending time in

80's cafe's and resturants.

Wow, all we need is hoverboards and Back the the Future 2 will have been right on target :P

Edit: Actually as I recall there actually were overboards made about 12 years ago but they were prone to flipping over and could ony be used on certain pavements. I remember seeing them on one of the popular news/media TV shows like Entertainment Tonight. Too bad they were nothing like the ones in the movie.
