In England we have roads that aren't wide enough to get two cars width-wise down, so when you see a car coming the other way you are (if you're a nice person like me) meant to move out the way every now and then. I've done it a couple of times today and each time the car just sailed past me without a wave or nod of thanks, and it's just happened once to many lately. Now i know our steering wheels are on the correct side of our cars but this doesn't mean we have to be rude to polite (me) drivers.
Anyway, the second car that passed me i 'tooted' my horn at and gesticulated with my middle finger to convey my annoyance. That cheered me up a bit.
Let's all be nice out there.
"Excuse me, kind sir, but I do believe you have rudely assumed that you have the right of way. Please assume a disgusted expression while I sound my horn and extend my middle finger in your general direction."

You know, it is the same here in America... although not with road ways! I was raised that you always WALK ON THE RIGHT. That way, no matter it you are walking down the street, in the mall, up stairs, in hallways, WHATEVER, if EVERYONE walks on the right then all people going both directions are in an orderly fashion. But NOOOOO... now a days, people are SO RUDE they just walk wherever the heck they want to! If that means you bump into people, oh well! They actually exspect YOU to move when you are walking ON THE RIGHT. I don't know, this has been stuck in my crawl for quite a while now, can ya tell? It's not about the way people walk or drive, it's the fact that the young people of today have no respect for others. It's a me society!

Talk about rude drivers, on the way home tonight there was a women who was driving 5 miles below the speed limit then had the nerve to step on her brakes I wasn't even tail gating her. I slowed down even more, and so did she. I swore I saw a turtle pass us up
Well i don't have the patience so I sped up a little she flipped me off
OH.. I thought,, it is on like Donkey Kong..
Well needless to say, I honked my horn until she got out of the way then I took off. Well right when I did that the bitch sped up
This is a good subject to talk about. It drives me crazy when i am entering a store or any where for that matter, When people enter thru the exit and try to run you down while you are leaving thru the exit and same for the entrance. Do people not no how to read these days. Last time I checked exit meant going out and entrance meant going in. Ok sorry everyone just had to vent.

I remember those skinny roads. I visited the UK in 1993 and 1994 both during the winter times. Boy does Wales have skinny roads especially. I remember my exboyfriend Alex revearsing for almost a mile so that the other person could get through...or it felt like a mile. Giggles.....Oh, and those road islands in England don't make any sense. Giggles.....
There are many rude drivers here in the states as well. So don't feel bad. Just be careful and be aware of everything around you, because you don't know what knit whit is going to come along and cause a silly accident.

On the contrary my dear lady, i vacated the road as a gentleman should to the lady, i expected from what appeared a lady a pleasant wave of gratitude, i was silly to expect that from what was far from a lady, good day to you.

Next time you go shopping try taking a half finished bottle of the cheapest cider you can find with you and swing it around whilst shouting 'what you looking at?' or 'your my best f*****g mate, you are' and that should clear people ot of your way.
