I filed about two months ago. Of course, I had to pay money in, so that wasn't any fun! But I like to take care of this sort of thing early on rather than procrastinating!!!
I had to wait a bit until I got all my deduction statements back and then procrastinated another month, but I filed them in early March and got my refunds before April started. I guess that would put me in the "filed early" category.

Oh, I wish I only paid $800 today! I hate being self-employed at tax time. The federal self-employment tax is killing us. Then on top of that, estimated payments for next year are due today too.
I waited in line this morning at the post office to send off everything. Fortunately, at least the line moved quickly.
