I voted for the classic "Beds Are Burning". :) A classic, unforgettable song that I enjoy more today than back in the 80s when it was originally released... :)

King of the Mountain for me. I also like ' Blue Sky Mine' and 'Power and the Passion'

Not too familiar with a lot of their stuff....know Beds are Burning though, so that's where the vote goes....good tune :cool:

ok since it's only their 80's songs means i cannot vote for any of their stuff from their first 2 albums :( (which was before they got caught up with politics)

so i voted for "lucky country" :)

but really, i coulda chosen many other songs off their 3rd or 4th albums

This was a tough poll for me to vote on, but I went for "Power and the Passion" love the instrumentals for that.

Another one that deserves a mention is "Blue Sky Mine". I just love the beginning to that. The build up on the instrumentals is great.

"Beds are Burning" is a great song, but I felt it was rather over-played on the radio, so all though I still like the song, It's gone way down to the bottom of my favourite Midnight Oil list.

I had to go with Beds are Burning since that is probably the only song I really know. Now I am going to have to go out and buy some of their tunes so I can at least say I have listened to the other songs. Who knows maybe I'll like another song better?

I only remember Beds Are Burning, I hoped this was going to remind me of more, but unfortunately it didn't.

I did not like Midnight Oil at all. I do like Beds are burning now, but it took me at least 10 years before I listened to it.

I voted "other". For me it is a tie between Wedding Cake Island (do instrumentals count as songs?) and Hercules.

I choose Blue Sky Mining as my favorite song by them. I like Beds are Burning as well, but it would have been nice if Blue Sky Mining got more radio play back in the day.

"Blue Sky Mining" got my vote, but I also love "Forgotten Years" and "King of the Mountain." Midnight Oil... gotta love their political conscience. Music isn't like that anymore. It's so much fluff these days.
