Hey Y'all,

Cyndi Lauper made some fun and colorful videos in the 80's, which one was your favorite?

I voted for "Time After Time". Some of those videos I don't remember because I haven't seen them in years.

Girls just wanna have fun is my favorite. I love her Deadly Cyns DVD where it has all the crossdresser guys singing it at the end. That is so funny!:D

I thought that all of Cyndi's videos were a visual treat, as I was always a huge fan of hers. But the video that stands out for me is "Time After Time". Cyndi looked so adorable in this video, which features her ex-boyfriend and manager. And at the end, when Cyndi is leaving on the bus and tears roll down her face as she pressed her head to the glass window and spells out "time after time" in sign language... classic! :)

I voted for "she bop" what a wild video that is. I have seen "girls just want to have fun" so many times I am rather sick of it.

I would have to go with "Time After Time" as well! A classic video indeed. Cyndi's mother has a cameo in the video as well as her manager, her mother is the woman sweeping the porch that Cyndi stops and hugs. Cyndi Lauper was also Madonna's competition in those early days! A unique voice and talent! :)

oh sure, choose the naughty one, BlitzKid! I like that video the best because of the cartoons in it. I remember laughing so hard when I first saw it.

I didn't know there was a video to "What's Going On".

I would have to say "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". It was produced by Ken Walz. We (Animotion) hired Ken Walz to produce our first video because we liked "Girls" so much and we wanted something lighthearted for Obsession.

At the risk of sounding too mainstream, I went with "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". This was a defining video in the whole genre of music videos. Plus, how can you go wrong with Captain Lou Albano?

Girls Just Want To Have Fun always makes me laugh. I liked her videos, because they were so different from all the rest of the videos from female artists at that time.

Goonies "R" Goopd Enough

It was very cheesy but very enjoyable. You got the cast of The Goonies, Steven Spielberg, and a whole handful of wrestlers in it. How cool

I picked time after time. I loved that song and it was nice seeing a serious side of her that she didn't show in her other songs. :)

So true, it was definetely my choice too!!!

I Drove All Night was the worst imo with the big muscular dude, it could have been less superficial ;)

Time After Time is my favorite video. I agree with the other person who said they liked seeing her serious side.

I went with She Bop, perhaps because when it first came out it wasn't played that much on MTV so it was a much rarer treat. GJWHF & TAT were soooooo over-played, LOL. I couldn't escape those videos.

Here is a live version of All Through The Night from a Paris concert. Sorry about the quality:

Change Of Heart.

A very energetic video, and the Bngles singing backup was great.
