Whether it was pot, cocaine, you name it. Regardless whether you tried it or not...

I think the first time I was passed the pipe was when I went to the gravel pit with my brother and DOZENS of his friends for some heavy drinking basically in the woods. This was sometime during the summer of 1990.

A few guys had a bong... no wait it was a cigarette (thinking of another time) and were passing it around. One guy handed it to me and he either said "take a hint" (as in, we're all doing it, why don't you) or "take a hit"... probably the second.

I didn't try it though. I have been offered pot several times since then, even had one guy hand me his bong while him and another room mate got high, but I didn't participate. Never tried pot, and I never will.

I must have been about 17 when I was first offered.

How old were you guys? Where was it at? What was offered? Did you try it?

I think it was around age 13 or 14 I was first offered a cigarette...didn't take it. First illegal drug offer was in high school with pot...again didn't take it. Never have, never will do any drugs of any kind (except alcohol on occasion) :p

First time I was offered an illegal drug was at my place when a pal came over and wanted to do a little spotting on our oven. I watched, but I did not participate. :D (Never have)

I can't really remember, it's all in a fog ;) I guess it was somewhere in my teens.
The only "drug" I've ever used is cannabis....However I was mistaken for a drugdealer once...

I was in a club (brit-pop & alt. rock) in London, I was wearing a dark-blue t-shirt with big yellow letters on the front reading "HELL", when some girl came over and started running here fingers up'n'down my chest and asked me I had any drugs...I was baffled to say the least. I said no and she left...This is when I realised, that besides wearing the HELL t-shirt I was leaning against a 2 meter high speaker (standing right in front of it) with a drink and smiling...No wonder she thought I was on drugs or dealing :D

I guess I was 16 and was offered a joint at a park a few of used to hang out at in Hawaii. I remember it was late night and it was being passed around and the smell was nauseating and I refused it. I have never taken any illegal drugs and never will. I can always get a natural high, I'm high on life baby, high on life! :) I know this will sound nerdy, but hey, who cares, but I actively participated in the "Just Say No" campaign and wore that damn button everywhere! :lol:

Yeah, I've never been into drugs either. Most of my high school friends smoked pot. I don't really remember the first time I was offered it. I just remember it being around a lot. I don't ever remember feeling peer pressure to do it either. Everyone knew I didn't do drugs and was fine with it.

Some punk kid offered to sell me "weed" on Toronto's Yonge Street... a couple months ago!

Seriously, that was the first offer ever, and I'm very nearly 25.

It's bizzare, but I didn't get offered any drugs until just a couple years ago when I was 22. It was just your standard weed/marijuana. Didn't take it, but I have always wondered why that didn't happen to me like when I was 11 or 12. I guess I always hung around the good kids and good people. Never did any drugs, never will. It just messes you up for life. But yes, I do like to drink....in moderation ofcourse.

I first saw pot at a party I attended while still in high school. Took a toke just to see what all the fuss was about. It didn't do anything for me, so I haven't tried it since. As for other drugs, never even wanted to sample them at all! Forget it!!! :vibrator:

I never have been offered drugs, actually, but I'm just 15.

First time that I was offered a joint was the last day of my junior year in high school. It was at a friend's graduation party and I wanted to see what it was like. They offered me cocaine, but I turned that down. One drug a night is enough.

I don't think anyone offered or tried to persuade me, I went looking for some, made a day trip out of it

The first time I had a cigarette, I was about 10, my friend had pinched some off his dad, but I never liked the taste anyway. I was offered Pot in about 1988, but never took it then. My mum would have kiled me if she'd found out :lol: The nly thing I ever fancied trying was an acid tab in the late eighties, but I just knew I'd get a bad one and it would probably have killed me.

I think I was 15. It was Christmas night. I got together with my friends from my neighborhood where I grew up. I was waiting at my one friends house with his parents while he was gone for some reason. I knew something wasnt right, but anyway. He came home with my other friends and We started driving around. I thought it was weird driving around on Christmas night. They stopped the car and started rolling joints. Then drove some more and stopped in front of the woods near our houses and started smoking the pot. They offered me some but I declined. So I just left and walked home. That was basically the beginning of the end for them being my good friends because they were into it big time from then on. :mad:

No, let's just say that I was a curious teenager. I could have gotten anything I wanted and did get some things. I just don't want my kids finding out. :lol:

I guess I was like 14-15 when someone offered me some pot. I turned the person down I am not a smoker and never will. I have tried all sorts of other stuff, but no smoking and no needles. Both things just freak me out.

The first time I was offered drugs was at my bus stop and I was in the 8th grade. I was offered to buy a joint for a $1!
I was like so boggled by it! This was a kid that was on my bus every day. I was like, "It probably isn't real". Mostly because there used to be kids that would make fake joints out of paper tissue and pencil shavings, trying to look "cool". Anyone else know anyone that did this?
The "joint" turned out to be real, but I didn't buy it!

And of course later in life...curiosity got the better of me, so I did try pot (but I didn't inhale! :) ) And like MDC, it didn't really do anything for me, it just made me really sleepy! I never tried anything else though, I am way too much of a chicken! No needles, no coke. I don't know how people can shoot needles!!:p

When I came back from Germany in 1992. My brother had a nice little stash of "Doobie", which I shared with he and his girlfriend. Oh! Nice and smooth. LOL

I first saw a joint at a party with some people I worked with when I was 17. I was wondering why everyone was sharing the same cigarette.:confused: It finally hit me what it was, and I left soon before it got to my side of the room.

About six months after that was the first time I was actually offered anything. I had some friends (from that same job) who were very into just about anything you could ask for. I always turned them down, but was often in the presence of a lot more than I ever expected to see.

I never was offered any type of drug in school. Mainly because my friends knew how strongly I was against drugs (I had a cousin overdose and die in 1982). I have been offered pot a few times in the past 5 years, but I refuse to try it.
