What is the best REO Speedwagon song of the 80s?

My favorite REO Speedwagon song would have to be "Keep On Loving You".

Great song. Always enjoy hearing that one. Easy poll for me, because I only know two of the songs listed.

I voted for "Keep On Lovin' You"! This is their best song and it's a great song to make a dedication too, which I used to always! :thumb:

I voted other. My favorite REO sond was "Time For Me to Fly" If you ever need a great "break-up" song this is one of the best!

I went with Take It On The Run. Always loved that song. Was a huge fan of theirs. :) In fact they're playing an hour from me tomorrow tonight with Styx. Wish I could go. :( I'll be stuck at work instead though.

I had to go with other because I just can't choose. Every song on High Infidelity is my favorite. That's one of the few albums I put on and always listen to from first song to last.

That album is a total '80s experience for me.

I had to vote "other". I love them all. The only song I can think of by REO that I don't like is "Roll With The Changes". There may be others, but that's the only one for now. lol I really was gonna try to pick, but you made a really great poll!! :)

This is one where the video helped me like a song. I really enjoyed the pun of a lonely knight in the video of 'One Lonely Night'. It made me listen to the song which, as it turns out, I really like.

"Take it on the run". "Hi-infadelity" was one of the greatest albums of the 80's! I also really liked "In your letter"

Very difficult poll for me here. I chose "Take it on the Run" but "Keep on Loving You" was a close second. I also love "Tough Guys"...and most everything from Hi Infidelity.:)

definately "keep on loving you" anything by REO speedwagon really brings back memories from the 80's and they also play this song several times in a classic 80's movie "Las American Virgin"

Time for Me to Fly was my HS graduation/prom song. :) I'll always have fond memories when I hear it.

My favorite, though, is Keep on Loving You.

The 'Life As We Know It' album was my favourite REO album :thumb:

the great thing about 'hi infidelity' is how gooooood the non-radio songs are.

- 'in your letter' is one of my favorites.... kinda like the steak in 'the matrix'; it's fake, i know it's fake, yet when i bite into it, it tastes so good. what the hell are those, marimbas?

- 'tough guys'.... 1. the little Rascals intro is classic. 2. kevin cronin saying: "... she thinks they're full of shit" has to be one of the more forced moments...... YET, i still get that biting into a steak sensation (see above)

- 'the key' (from the follow up album) - probably listened to it hundreds of times, trying to learn the latest gary richrath... SOOOOOO UNDERRATED!

"Keep On Loving You" without a doubt. I like all of their stuff. They are great in concert, if you get chance to see them!

"Take It On The Run" by far....
