What is the best Michael Jackson song of the 80s?

Loved all his songs off the Thriller album, but Billie Jean always stood out the most for me.

I voted for "Thriller", I think this was a great song and one fine video! I watched the midnight premiere on MTV, it was creepy! :thumb:

I voted for "Beat It".

I voted for Thriller. Mainly because I loved the video for it. Never a big fan of his though.

by all means the #1 for him was thriller

And the tastes run the same in this round :lol: 'Thriller' gets my vote. Great video and good tune in it's own right...always liked that Vincent Price maniacal laugh in there :lol:

"Billie Jean" has always been my favorite Michael Jackson song. I also loved the fantastic video. A close second would be "The Way You Make Me Feel". :)

Difficult poll to author since MJ had so many songs during the 80s. My favorite was probably Off The Wall with close runners-up being Rock With You, She's Out Of My Life, I Just Can't Stop Loving You, Working Day and Night, The Girls Is Mine, and The Way You Make Me Feel.

I play that more than any other song of all my Michael Jackson CDs.

I went with other. "Off the wall" although the album came out in 1979 the single was released and went to #10 IN 1980.

Though I really liked "The Way You Make Me Feel", the video with him chasing after that woman on the street with his boys was great too.

Actually, most of his videos were great, Jackson was certainly no cheapskate and had lavish production values for most all of his videos. They hold up amazingly well and are still memsorizing today for their surreal atmospheres.

Michael Jackson had a lot of great songs in the 80's but I voted for my personal favorite "Smooth Criminal."

"Thriller" is my all-times favorite album of Michael Jackson, and I like every song on it.I've voted for "Billie Jean" because I love the song. But the video of "Thriller" was at its time the best one ever made. It impressed me so much that I still can remmeber it perfectly -after maybe 20 years since I watched it last time. (OOAAAHH-AH-AH-OH-OH-OOOOooooHHH!!!! :vampire: )

I voted for Billie Jean. The Thriller album had more good songs than any of his other albums and Billie Jean is still the hit of the Thriller album in my opinion.

I voted for Other. My favorite song is Liberian Girl.

Dirty Diana would have to be my favorite song from Michael because of the video.

Lot's of great songs, and one of those polls where your pick could change on an almost dayli basis ;) BUT I chose "Human Nature", as this song has grown on me through out the years :thumb:

Smooth Criminal was a good song and a great video.

Sorry, but Michael just couldn't pull off telling me he's Bad. Especially after LL Cool J's I'm Bad.
