What was your favourite song by Jimmy Somerville from Bronski Beat and The Communards.

Great artist! Unique voice! I had to go with my favorite remake of Sylvester's "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)"!! :thumb:

I voted for "Smalltown Boy", when Jimmy was with Bronski Beat. I also like the danceable "Why?". And the remakes of "Don't Leave Me This Way" and "Hot Stuff" from the Communards were a lot of fun, too! :)

I voted for I Feel Love, Jimmy's high pitched voice combined well with Marc Almond.

I should have included Jimmy Somerville in my best of Scottish poll, but I forgot about him until this week.

Loved that song, but personally couldn't stand the guy. He creeped me out.

I like all of the songs. I voted for Smalltown Boy, because it reminds me of a special person.

"So Cold The Night"...was a toughie again, with all the other great songs he performed either with Bronski Beat or solo.

I chose the song "You are my World"!! Jimmy was a very underrated artist. did he make any impact in the US?
