What was your favorite rock magazine in the 80's

I voted for Circus, although I also like Hit Parader & RIP. :)

I went with rolling stone, since I don't really know the others. :p

I went with Cream since I had bought a lot of those back in the day. I also had my share of teen magazines such as 16 and Bop.

Now I usually buy, Revolver. :)

I voted for "Rolling Stone"! It always was cutting edge and carried the charts, news blurbs, had great photo spreads, in-depth interviews, well....it just had it all for me! :thumb: They are kinda thin nowadays! :(

I voted 'other'. I'm pretty sure I bought Metal Edge all the time. I also bought one that started with an S, it had a bunch of lyrics listed in it. I think they actually quit printing that one in the late 80s, early 90s. That's around the time I quit buying these type of magazines, too...:)

I picked Rolling Stone, because it was one of my faves when I was growing up. I also liked Cream, Smash Hits (I used to get it when I went to Boston, at some newsstand ot Harvard Square), Q (same as SH) and I was also into those teen mags like 16 and Tiger Beat. :)

Yeah, one of my favorite photographers is Annie Lieberwitz (sp). She's a very talented photographers.

I had to vote for the venerable Rolling Stone! My fave pop magazine back in the 80s was Star/Smash Hits. What can I say, I'm a pop junkie! :)
