I started a new thread since the other one was getting so long. Okay, so it is like this:

May 10, 11, & 12 in San Antonio. Most of us (if not all of us) are staying at the Marriott on the Riverwalk. If you have not already made reservations, make them now to be on the safe side. Lots of stuff is going on in San Antonio that time of year.

For anyone interested, we plan to go to the Hard Rock Cafe, go to a dance club that plays 80's music (thinking about PollyEster's), and anything else that comes to our minds! Remember, this is open to anyone on the 80sxchange (you don't have to be from Texas).

I have let Trixter, VioletFoxx, and LadyMysTrix know this, but any newbies from here to May that are from Texas, please let them know about the meeting in their welcoming thread.

Is everyone getting excited? After meeting with all of the xchangers I met with this past weekend, I am ready for May! Any ideas and suggestions are welcomed in this thread.:)

I'm glad ya posted this Stacy, I want everyone to feel welcome and try to make it to the "Texas Round-Up" if they can!

I know there was talk of maybe going to Fiesta Texas, an amusement park, but I'm unsure about that. Hey y'all, used cd stores!!! :thumb: :vibrator: Just kidding...well, sorta! :lol:

Anyways, there's lots to do in San Antonio, the Riverwalk is the hub of entertainment, there's also a Planet Hollywood, the riverboat gondola's, Wax Museum, Alamo, etc...and i'm sure we're gonna take lots of photos!! :thumb:

So please try and make it if you can, we are extending our Southern hospitality to all y'all!! :)

I'd love to go, but I cant. :( Taking my vacation in April. At least I get to meet Roemy. :) Sounds like everyone that goes will have a great time though. :D :lol:

I am sorry, but I won't be able to attend the San Antonio bash after all.

Kayenne will be coming over from Denmark to visit me so the dates collide. My schedule as well as Kayenne's doesn't permit a change of plans, so we can't really change our plans as it is. I am really sorry about this, but I had to make a decision.

I hope y'all have a great time down there in SA. Kayenne and I will hit the beaches of Delaware for a couple of weeks, so there will be multiple xchanger meetings that weekend. :)

I LOVE San Antonio. I wish I could make it for the big Texas Roundup, but my sister graduates from high school the next weekend. I'll be heading to OKC for that. So, ya'll have fun and post lots of pics. :)

Anyways, jen* we would love for you to be able to join us in San Antonio, but your sisters graduation comes first, I understand all about prior commitments! :) We'll post the pics as soon as we get back, you can bank on it! Maybe you could join us all next time. :)

I am sorry to hear that, Flix. I was looking forward to you coming. Well, there is always next year!:) I was thinking about something today that could possibly be a slight problem for some people. Mother's Day falls on the 12th (Sunday). It won't be a problem for me because I will just celebrate it with my Mom the weekend before.

Oh, you know it!! :lol: I've come up with a design that we may use, but I'll let you know more on this later. Maybe Deb and I will give you a call sometime this weekend. :)

This Xchange meeting sounds like it's going to be a blast. I really wish I could attend but I don't think that's going to be possible. I've got too many deadlines coming up very quickly... no time for a vacation just yet!!! But I want to hear all the details!!! :)
