Is anyone else having a problem getting into the chat room, it allows me to even pick and avatar, then goes to the Dream Chat Launcher Window.. with a message that says this window should automatically close, but it doesn't it just freezes there. The only thing I can think is that my problem started after I downloaded one of the get rid of pop up programs ?:mad:

okay i found the problem, I deleted the pop up stopper program I downloaded from here and now I have no problems getting in:)

yeah with the pop up stopper you have to keep hold of the shift key when going thru the steps to enter dream chat

so i can still have my popup stopper and dreamchat
...kinda like having your cake and eating it...:D

I had the same problem and when i mentioned it to 8teesBuff, she suggested I exit pop-up stpper before I log onto DC. I guess certain sites have pop-up windows which are like pop-up ads. :)

I will try what space suggested. :)

I've been using Popup Stopper (latest version is 2.6) for several months and noticed that too. Thankfully all you have to do is press the Shift key to temporarily disable it.

ZoneAlarm 3.0 also prevents the chat from starting if you enable pop-up blocking.

Hmmm I use POW! (what a clever name). The newest version has a pause/unpause feature. Sometimes idiot webmaster leave a page as Untitled Document and my killer shuts it down. I was searching for a car earlier and the page kept getting closed. I finally realized that the moron who wrote the page made a temporary redirect page called...guess what... Untitled Document. Once I paused it, the page redirected.

All in all, I really like the popup killers though. Popups are EVIL!
