you just gotta love this film - it captures the 'fun' of the 80's. Stuff like skipping school, 'borrowing' daddys car, playing pranks on the teacher, playing pranks on your parents, having fun with your friends -I can relate only too well to this film, and I suppose it's why it's so special to me.

Yes, this was my favorite years ago. Still a really cool movie to watch! I was rarely ever in school so this kinda reminded me of, well, me.. hehe http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well I'm happy now! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif As I have been searching and found lots of cool Ferris stuff, including some pictures. I also found a site that claims John Hughes is considering a sequel, in which Ferris will work for a big corporation. Don't know if this is true, but what do you think of this? It is soooo difficult to make good sequels, especially to a film this cool...... But if it was more than just a rumour I would certainly have to check it out!

Wow. That would be amazing! You know, come to think of it - would anyone wanna attempt a script like a few of you did for "Breakfast Club 2000" on the old board? I really thought that was interesting..

Actually, it would be cool if whoever wrote them up would copy and paste their messages here. That was a really cool topic..

Otherwise, yeah.. I think a new Ferris movie could be really cool. I doubt they'll do it, though.

Ferris sequel? has anybody heard anything new on this one? Ferris taking a day off from the big corporation, has some potential!

So much so that I wanted to name my son Ferris (my wife vetoed the idea). I did manage to convince her to pay homage to the movie my naming him Cameron though!

As far as a sequel goes, I only heard that one might be in development. It better not suck if they make it, that's all I'll say about that...

Hey, I've seriously got "SAVE FERRIS" written all over my notebooks. Everyone says, "who's Ferris?"

One of the "MUST HAVE, DEFINITIVE" movies of the 80's!! Matthew Broderick gave a great performance as the popular kid in school with all the tricks! Great soundtrack, great cast, funny as hell, what more could you want. I love Jennifer Grey in this film, "Is my mother there? Do you now where she's at? Do you know when she'll be back? Do you know...anything!!??!! I've used that a few times! Priceless! :)

I just watched Ferris Bueller for the millionth time the other day on cable. I can never get tired of watching this movie. There's just something about a John Hughes comedy, and this was one of his best!!! :)
