What would be your favorite Tom Petty song? If your favorite isn't listed pick other and let us all know your choice. :)

I voted "other", Trix, as my fave Tom Petty song is "Learning to Fly". But "Don't Come Around Here No More" and "Freefalling" are good as well! :)

I chose Free Fallin, but Tom Petty is one of my altime favorites right back from 79 with the release of Damn the Torpedo�Ls. So many of his songs I really like, hard to choose a favorite

I voted for "Don't Come Around Here No More" just on the sole basis of it having a cool video.

My favourite song of all time would have to be "Mary Jane's Last Dance" though, but since it's not '80's, I declined to vote Other.:p

I went with "You got lucky". It was the first video I ever saw on MTV, so it kind of brings back memories. I love all his songs, so it was a tough call. "Jammin' me" was a very close second...another great video.

My favorite is a song called "Change Of Heart". It is on the "Long After Dark" LP.

Mine is "Angel No. 2" from the She's the One soundtrack. Or is it "Angel No. 4?" Anyway, the acoustic one. I only have it on a mix tape.

I like all the other songs in the poll, though. I especially loved the video to "Free Fallin'" because I was so very into skaters at the age of 14. Couldn't even stand up on a skateboard... but drooled over them anyway.

I wanted to vote "Learning to Fly" but I figured you didn't include it because it was a 90s song so I voted "Running down a dream" all though "Don't come around here no more" was a close second.

This was definitely one of the hardest polls for me so far. I like all these songs. I actually had to stop and think about this. So, anyway, I choose "Jammin' me"..that has to be my favorite.

Free Falling. Ever since I saw Tom Cruise Singing it in the car in Jerry MacGuire I have LOVED that song!

"Running Down A Dream" was my vote. Loved the video.

Had to give the nod to "Don't Do Me Like That", with "Refuge" a close second. I'm kinda surprised "Refuge" didn't get more votes, it was a huge song for Petty back in the day.

I really loved "You got lucky". The video for "Last dance with Mary Jane" was pretty creepy but I really liked it too. It had Michelle Pheiffer in it (I think) playing a corpse that Tom Petty danced around with. Morbid but different. :lol:

I orginally said "Free Fallin", but I would definitely change that to "American Girl", "You Don't Know How It Feels" or "The Waiting" - great songs!

I chose other... I LOVE Tom Petty!! Even though I'll always picture him in a big purple top hat, Even the Losers get lucky sometimes...
