Hey Y'all,
I just picked up Chris Cagle's cd "Play It Loud" and I am really impressed with his lyrics and vocal talents. Chris Cagle shows great potential, if he can escape being lost in the shuffle of the explosion of new country artists!
This album includes the two hit songs "Laredo" and "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out". I would recommend pickin' up this cd! :thumb:

Trixter thanks for posting that. I like the songs I have heard from Chris Cagle on CMT. He definately has great potential. I think I might go buy the album just to check it out. Are there alot of slow songs or upbeat ones?

Total agreement here. He has a wonderful voice!
I like "Breathe In, Breathe Out", but I'm not a big fan of "Laredo". However, that's not because Cagle doesn't sing it well, because he really does.
Another new artist who's got potential is Blake Shelton ("Austin"). He has a very soulful voice, like he's feeling every word he sings. That's what makes the song, in my opinion! ;)
Gary Allen also has that raspy quality to his voice. And some awesome songs, as well. :)

Hey pepsiprincess92,
Most of Chris Cagle's album is upbeat to midtempo songs. It's a great album!! :thumb:

I like that song.. very sweet!! ;)
I'm not familiar with Chris Cagle, but thanks for posting about him, Trixter. I'll have to check out his album and Blake Shelton's too.
Yes I like Chris Cagle, whats not to like, he is from Houston after all. :D
I like the Blake Shelton song better though. I saw Blake at the rodeo last month, he played a lot of covers, but he was still good.
