Hey Y'all,

In the past couple of years I have taken notice of country singer Toby Keith, so has the industry itself! :thumb:

I think he has a fresh sound and a comedic flair. His videos are a riot, especially "I Wanna Talk About Me" and "I'm Just Talkin' About Tonight". He has a softer side and can really sing a ballad.
I really think Toby Keith is definitely going places and will be an artist that endures the years!

What do y'all think?

Tickets go on sale for his show in Erie on Saturday. I will be getting them then :) Can't wait, some of my all time favorite country songs are by him including "Should've been a cowboy", "Wish I didn't know now", and "Does that blue moon ever shine on you". That's just the tip of the iceberg.

I like the video for "I Wanna Talk About Me", with Toby in all sorts of different situations with his endlessly yaking girlfriend!!! I don't like the song all that much, though. His new song and video, with references to Sept. 11, is very good and touching. :)

Oh yes, Wonder Twin, that song is touching, it's called "The List". I'm going to buy his cd "Pull My Chain" this weekend! :thumb:

I agree with the reviews on "The List"...as well as the song's message. It's just beautifully done, all around.

Toby Keith is good, but I don't like everything he's ever done. "I Wanna Talk About Me" is my least favorite song of his, so far. But I can handle it, because my kid likes it...:)

The show was GREAT. It was Cody's 8th birthday so we took a sign that said "Today is my 8th birthday, how do you like me now?" and while singing one of his songs Toby gave Cody the thumbs up. Cody was soooo thrilled :). My girlfriends friend Michelle is a Toby Keith fanatic, she said she even peed her pants because she was so excited  We all had a great time.
