Who do you think were the leaders of Saturday morning enjoyment? :)

My vote goes to Warner Bros and Loony Tunes. I spent countless hours as a child, laughing hysterically over the antics of Bugs Bunny, Sylvester and Tweety, the Road Runner and Foghorn Leghorn!!! :lol:

I'm going to say Warner Brothers, but I have a huge love of Hanna-Barbera shows as well. Hanna-Barbera shows are so diverse and fun, even the goofy TV spinoffs like Gilligan's Planet.

'Course, Wildfire was a Hanna-Barbera production, so I'm a tad bit biased. Hehe.

I voted for Warner Brothers. Most of the cartoons I watched were Warner Brothers cartoons.

I voted for Hanna-Barbera, they made up most of my Saturday morning viewing! Scooby, Josie, Speedy were my Saturday mornin' friends! :thumb:

Very difficult choice...

...but I went with WB!

I like WB and Hanna-Barbera equally.

Scooby Doo was and still is my very favorite cartoon. Josie was another favorite!

I always loved Hanna Barbera the most. I miss those cartoons from my childhood. :(

Warner Brothers and Hanna-Barbera top the list for me. As much as I loved H-B cartoons, Looney Tunes takes it in the very end. There were several Filmation cartoons (esp. Tarzan & Fat Albert) that I enjoyed too.

Had to vote for Warner Brothers. Speedy Gonzales is the best!

Sid and Marty Croft did the Land of the Lost. It wasn't a cartoon, but an adventure/dinosaur thing. They did some other stuff too, which was before my time.

My vote would have to go with Warner Brothers.

gfs pegged some of it, Sigmund and the sea monster, Land of the lost and Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. Heres a little of my trivia knowledge. Electra Woman was played by Diedra Hall, Days of our lives, Marlaina. Any of you remember the other show with these. A bunch of kids in a dunebuggy????

Who could argue with The Flintstones, Jetsons, and Scooby Doo? Hanna Barbera is my 1st choice followed by Warner Bros. As far as Sid and Marty Croft they were the best at stuff like Sigmund and the Sea Monster, Far out Space Coasters and HR Puff-n- Stuff. :D

It's hard to choose but the bestest for me would be Looney Tunes.

However, Hanna-Barbera had such a cool look and style raging from Tom and Jerry to the Flintstones (I listened to 'I Ain't Gonna Be Your Fool' on my discman this morning!) and I'm still praying for a Woody Woodpecker DVD to come out with all his 1940s and 1950s cartoons.

But not to forget... ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE!

Terrytoons did Casper, Babey Heuey, Mighty Mouse (still praying for that one to come out on ANY form of video!), and Heckle & Jeckyll (I miss that!)

It's hard because I watched WB cartoons too. But I picked Hanna-Barbera. I loved Jem!

I'm so torn on this, I can't vote for one :lol: Warner Bros., Hanna-Barbara and Filmation all ruled in different ways!

But I'm bringing this back up anyway for those who can decide :lol::p

I went with Filmation, because they gave me, He-man and She-ra. I used to watch almost every single cartoon on Tv and sometimes now still do :lol:

Are you referring to Speed Buggy? That was Hanna Barbera wasn't it? Along w/ JabberJaw. Remember the Buggaloos??


My faves as a young tike were Heckle & Jeckle and Mighty Mouse.

I had to go with Hanna..they were good..Flintstones..Jetsons..Scooby..Josie..I really wish the cartoon network would show some of these shows instead of the crap they show now..they could call it The Classic Cartoon Network or something.

This was a tough choice. I basically did eeny-meeny-miney-moe to decide! :laugh: I loved all these cartoons. I didn't care, and still don't, who made them. Theywere great then and they're still great today My kids watch just as many of these cartoons, if not more, than the newer cartoons.

Have to go with Warner Bros. They come up some original stuff! Very funny stuff! Also Bugs Bunny is my hero and why not he is the first heterosexual cross dressing character ever on TV! Gotta love it!

Without a shade of doubt, Hanna-Barbera!! Sorry, Bugs, i love you with all my heart, but nothing compares to Hanna-Barbara, they are the Kings! I love almost every single show they made, love all the Scooby series (yes, even Scrappy) and probably can even name a few Hanna Barbara shows that aren't widely known!
So, as much as I loved Bugs, Hanna Barbara will always rule!

I can't even remember what cartoons go with what companies, except the Warner Brothers. Strange that...

So anyway, I went with Warner Brothers, since I know I liked a lot of their cartoons.

Does anyone know who made Muppet Babies, The Chipmunks (wasn't that disney?), Smurfs, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, Care Bears....Must of the cartoons I liked weren't on tv, they were movies. :D

Until someone makes a funnier cartoon character than Bugs Bunny, it's Warner Brothers all the way....
