Hey Y'all,

I was thinking about pets today and got curious to what y'all would say to this question:

"If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?"

Hi! Well, I would dearly love to have and be able to keep and provide for a horse! But, I love animals in whole. I love and am owned by a cat and two fish. There is another cat in our household, but she's my mom's cat. My cat is a red tabby named Set, and the fish, a goldie by the name of Braveheart and a betta by the name of Scarletblue. Braveheart is named so because s/he always faces off the cats when they stare into the tank and Scarletblue is colored so. Set is named after Ancient Egyptian Mythology, the God Set. :) Interestingly enough, my mom's cat's name is Isis...

do penthouse pets count?:D

I would be happy to have another dog. Either a German Shepherd or a Siberian Husky with blue eyes. As long as I live in an aparment though, I won't have a dog. I just feel there is not enough room for them in apartments. I am happy with my cat though.:)

I really miss my horses. I've had one of my horses, Now Voyager, since I was a boy. He leads a happy life at the stables at my father's horse farm in Kentucky, but I do miss taking care of him and saddeling him up to go riding on a daily basis. :)

Throwing realism out the window--- an elephant! I love elephants, and I always wondered whether I missed my calling as an elephant keeper at the zoo ;) (and no, I've never minded the smell!)

More realistically, I'd love to own a horse someday. It'll be a while, though. They are expensive to keep & care for. My best friend growing up lived on a farm, so I learned to ride pretty young, and got very good at all those lovely barn chores, helping my friend and her siblings. I actually really enjoy grooming and caring for horses. I haven't taken riding lessons since I was twelve, but I think I could pick it up again pretty quickly. Maybe when we move to Arizona, I'll take lessons again and see if I'm still interested.

Right now I am happy with my crazy & spoiled Maine Coon Cat mix, Dexter (http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/m_m_cooper/lst?.dir=/Dexter+Kitty).

So that would be my choice.. don't think i could get a big enough tub for it.. well maybe i can keep him in my pool:lol:

I like DOGS and have three. That suits me just fine! :)

I would like a little monkey! My friend had one, like Marcel on "Friends". He was so active, but it was hard to keep that monkeys attention! :lol:

I have four dogs, 3 Daschunds and a Black Labrador. They are my pride and joy! :)

I'd love to have a horse, but they are a lot of work. My favorite pet ever will always be a dog. Dogs are so fun, relatively easy to care for, and rewarding to own.

Another dolphin lover here also. I don't have a pool to put one in, but I can get a shovel and dig a hell of hole if I had to.

If I could have any pet (and obviously this would never happen in real life), I've always loved wolves so I would have a wolf! :)

I have 2 dogs already though: a Siberian Husky named Keisha (4 yrs) and a Husky/Lab mix named Buddy (12 yrs).

I always wanted a large plot on land in the woods, with a small house and wolves nearby. :)

Runner-up would be a giant emu I could ride on and attack enemies from.

I've got the pet I want - he's a raven an his name is Sid Idol (Heh, like that's a big surprise). Usually just call him Idol, tho. He talks pretty well, too. The problem is gettin the bugger to -shut up-! ;) (An for those who are curious, yea, Idol's on tour too.)

Same here my dog is a handful as it is......but I love him anyway.

I love dogs unfortunatly my parents don't feel the same way.My favorite dog breeds are Husky's and Samyod's(sp?)I would love to have a husky with blue eyes.I also would love to have a Samyed.I think there such beatuful dogs with that white coat,aside from dogs I would like to have a white horse but only if I had someone to help me take care of it since there hard work besides I would be to busy with my dogs.

If I could have ANY animal as a pet, ....It would be a Tiger, preferably a White Tiger, but any tiger would do. :D

My mom has a dog that is border collie/wolf. He is an awesome dog but he has a "wildness" in him. He is great with the kids and family members!! Not so good with strangers! :eek:

I love dogs, I have a black lab also Trixter! I love him to death, but sadly enough I had to leave him at my moms house when I moved into an apartment. A 90 pound dog can't fit in a 1 br apartment. But as some of you might know Sal and I had our first kitten and it passed away at 7 months old, I do miss it. I think in a month or two I am going to try a kitten again.

You could always feed him the neighbour's cats! ;)

As you can tell I'm not a cat person. :lol: But I love dogs. The only problem is I always live in places where you can't have them. :(

Oh yeah and we have this annoying budgy that gets really rowdy at times and makes me want to reach in and throttle it!
