Who is taking it all this year? I am hoping another team besides the Lakers can take it. Sorry, I am not a Laker fan. I am not saying they aren't a good team, I just don't like them.

So what do you say? Who is winning it this year?

Better not be the Lakers!!!!!!  Hate the Lakers. :p Personally, I'm rooting for the Blazers. :) That's my team. At least they're starting to play better now. :) Just have to wait and see who makes it in the play-offs this year.

I know who AIN'T going to the playoffs this year...my very own Grizzlies.

We have a saying here in Memphis about the Grizzlies: Thank God it's almost baseball season!

Well, my Spurs just ended their 13 game winning streak. Portland beat them last night.

The Lakers lost again. Yeah! Well, I am just excited that the Spurs are doing so in this last stretch of the season. Next week I am actually going to the Dallas/Spurs game in SA. Man, we have got to beat those damn Mavericks.

I would be surprised if the Lakers don't win yet again. I would like for the Spurs to win, since I really admire both the Admiral and Timmy D. I seriously doubt they have what it takes to beat the Lakers in a playoff series though.

I am pulling for the San Antonio Spurs to take it again, they got a great record, well until Portland. Texas will rise again!! ;)

Well, I went to the Spurs/Mavericks game on Sat.(4/6) It was great! Tim got 33 pts. and made the winning shot with 2 sec left. It was great. Especially sitting around all the Mav fans thinking they were going to win in our house. Well, it didn't happen. Now SA is only 1/2 game behind the Mavs and they have an easier schedule here at the end.

Well, I am ready for the playoffs. I know the Lakers are tough, but I belive!!!!:D

That's great news Angela!! Mavs win at Alamodome, nah! I'm with ya on the Lakers, but the Spurs can handle it!! :D (Trix, crosses fingers & toes! )

Lakers lost in double OT last night to the Blazers. :):):):D Was a great game to see. I was just surprised to see Scottie Pippen get ejected from the game. Either way, the Lakers went down last night. Ready for the playoffs now. Just waiting to see who the Blazers face in the first round.

It looks like the Blazers will face those lovable Lakers, Jazzy. Ouch. They are hard to beat in the postseason.
Oh, BTW, you'll notice I did not gloat that my lowly Grizzlies beat the Blazers last week. :D

Sorry about the Blazers:( but I am happy:D my Spurs won. And by a rather large margin I might say. I just hope they keep on going at the rate that they are. If so they have a chance to pull it off. Just be a little more aggressive.

GO SPURS GO!!!!!

The Lakers are going down. Who would have thunk the Kings could do it? Bye Bye to Kobe and Shaq tomorrow night!

I know....who woulda thunk it? For any long time NBA fan, this gotta be pretty funny...two teams that have been bottom of the bucket teams for so many years all of a sudden in the finals....well, presumably be in the finals unless some miracle occurs. After that 26 point Celtic comeback, you never can tell

Yeah, I lived in Kansas City in the 70's and was a Kings fan then. I can't remember them making the playoffs since the 70s until about three years ago when they first took my Jazz to 5 games in the first round. And the Nets??? Jason Kidd is the man.

WOW, this post brought a name back from the past, Otis Birdsong, he played for both the Kings and the Nets in the early eighties.

I just want to add something here:

I hope the Sacramento Kings blows The Lakers away in game six. Although I am chatting while following the games, I swear that this series is giving me a heartattack soon.

Watching my boyfriend pretending to drop dead on the floor when Robert Horry sank the three pointer also adds to the entertainment value. What a heartbreaker that game was for the Kings. It was good to see them bounce back in game five. The world stopped moving when Kobe launched that final shot in game six. I jumped out of my chair when he missed. ;)

This is too much talk from someone who is not even remotely interested in Basketball.

DJ, a Suns fan? When my family moved from KC to Phoenix I bcame a Suns fan. Then they traded for Barkley and I couldn't handle it (Jeff Hornacek was one of my favorite players). Now I'm a Jazz fan.

Go Kings!

C'Mon spacey. Ease up on basketball. I'm actually thinking of turning on a few minutes of the World Cup. I'm sure my wife will wake me up when the matches are over

I was a Dan Majerle (sp?) fan and Jeff Hornacek. Like I told Roem in the chat the other night, I didn't like Barkley, he was nothing but trouble from day 1.

Thunder Dan was pretty cool! I just like Jeff Hornacek because if you saw him in a crowd, you'd never know he was a ball player. He just knew how to get a shot off. (Average Joe with 25 ft range)

Hard to beat the Lakers when they have every official on their side.

Sunday night, Game 7. I hope the Kings will crush the Lakers.
