"Peek-a-boo" it was the first one I ever heard by them. I bought the album after I heard it. I still play it once in awhile on my show :)

I'm a major Siouxsie fan, and I had to vote in the "Other" category, as my fave, "Face To Face" was not there. "This Wheel's On Fire" is also a fave.

I heard that the Banshees are doing a US reunion tour soon, I hope everyone that goes has heaps of fun! I'd love to see them!
I saw & met The Creatures a few years ago in Sydney, which was great, but it's not the Banshees!

From these choices, "Kiss them for me," otherwise "The last beat of my heart" from Peepshow. (That does show that I'm a later convert, but I like their older albums too ;) )

I've only ever heard the one song, (maybe.....I can't remember if I have heard the others...though I prolly have)....so my vote goes to Kiss Them For Me.

Man, what a tough choice. I voted for Israel but could so easily have picked any number of songs. Wheels On Fire and You're Lost Little Girl are my favourite covers. Dazzle, Cities In Dust, Arabian Nights are incredible too. :)

Good one Stacy!
It was hard, but I voted for 'other' and yes it's another 90's song that is my favorite from Siouxsie, it's "Face To Face". That songs arrangement and her little cat growl make it irresistable! :thumb:

I just got 2 Siouxsie tickets for the NYC show!!! whoo-hoo! I can't wait. So far, 6 of my friends are all going. I can't wait. Last time I saw her with The Creatures, she did 3 old Banshees songs....I'm hoping she'll do a "Best of" show that spans her entire career. That would be amazing.

that's not a fair question! lol! i love all that sioux has done, especially as the creatures. although "nicotine stain" used to be my fave, "exterminating angel" has more recently injected itself into my being with its metaphorical correlation with "the taste of jagged glass" & "menstrual streams".

Greetings

Voted 'DP', but it's kind of a tie with 'Last beat of my heart". That song really gets me.

Anyway --had no idea they were touring... could have made it to the Chicago or Detroit show. Can't believe I missed that.

If anyone was able to catch this tour, will you  please  post a review? Thank you!

Out of that list, I only knew two of them. I wish I would have been into them back when they were popular, I'm sure I would have loved them all!

Went with Peek a Boo, I just love that little accordion (sp) part (or whatever that is) and it was the first song I heard by them. It reminds me of Halloween for some reason and it has the word peepers in it. It just cracks me up.

One of their songs had a real springy tune, it wasnt peekaboo or passeger or israel, it went really fast. I heard it on the radio, but the stupid jockey didnt announce the songs name, I may never know.

'killing jar' has always been one of my favs. and 'kiss them for me'. I prob already answered this thread a long time ago, too. there's so many of her songs I love, just can't choose...'Isreal' - great one, Spacehog!
-(hey, haven't heard that name in awhile.) one of my all time fav songs is
'we love the all of you, where grass is green and skies are blue....'

Siouxsie is a band I do not know well, but there's something about it that has always attracted me. I've never owned an album of them or know anything about the band, but it's an attractive band. The only song I know from them is "Kiss them for me", so you can guess where my vote goes.

Kiss them for me :)

I'm a die-hard Banshees fan and I would have been happy to vote for any song from the "Ju Ju" album, so my vote went to "Spellbound". I like all the albums up to and including "Hyena". "Tinderbox" is OK, but everything after that I can pretty much do without. I've pretty much ignored the Creatures whole career, I've seen them play a couple of times (just to see Siouxsie) but they never did anything for me. The Banshees, on the other hand, would still tear it up in concert even after their records started to suck.

I just bought Siouxsie's new solo CD and the first 3 songs are really good, but after that it goes downhill, sounding a bit like "Rapture" or some of the Creatures output.
