This weeks voting will be for the best prime time (nighttime) soap opera series of the 80's. Again, six choices and the voting will run for two weeks. This voting session will end on 3/9/02.

I voted for "Dallas" because it was the only one I sorta followed off and on. I never really ever watched any of the rest of them.

Same here! I watched all of them on occasion, but Dallas was the only one I kept watching til the end!:p

Knots landing. I couldn't go a week without watching this show.
They had such great story lines! Karen with her addiction, Val and the twins, Sumner and Abbey etc...plus having the enjoyment of watching Pat Peterson (what a cutie) and the georgus David James elliot was a plus too!:D

I've never watched these soaps, but I voted for Dallas because it is one of the most famous American soaps to have made it to New Zealand screens and the characters seem to be the most remembered and talked about.

Frankly I know very little about any of the characters from the other ones.

The only one I recall catching a few times was Dallas, so that's what I had to go with! :p

Dallas! Everyone knew who J.R. Ewing was! And without Dallas, there would be no Knots Landing, because it started as a spin-off about the life of Gary Ewing and his wife, Valene. :) Until that darn Abby came along...:mad: grrrrrrr!! LOL

I went with Dallas. That was the only one I watched and I rarely did that. :p

Being from Texas it was always neat to watch a show where they were located near by. So, I voted for Dallas.

Dynasty was the only one that could hold my interest, so I voted for it. :lol:

I voted for "Dallas", watched it from beginning to end! "Knot's Landing" was a close second, watched the entire series as well!

In our house it was "Knots Landing" every week. We watched "Dallas" the first season or so and from then on it was KL.

Definately Dallas.
