Okay, did anyone else see this?!?

I was watching Mad TV this past Saturday and they had a spoof of the Schoolhouse Rocks "Interjection" song. It had words like "crap" "this blows" bite me"!!! It had the same cartoony feel, and the same type of singers. I have not laughed that hard at anything on that show in a long time!! I just wish that Aron and I had taped it!!

Watch for it in reruns!!

Dangit!!! I missed Mad TV this past Saturday, and I never miss Mad TV! That sounds like a hilarious spoof, Gretch. I used to go around screaming "Interjection! Ow!!! Wow!!! Bam!!!" all the time when I was a kid!!! :D

 I know what you're talking about, those things are hilarious! It harkens to 'Saturday Night Live's" spiel 'TV Funhouse', they did something similar as well!

I've actually seen the SchoolHouse Rock cartoons on video at Media Play. Those sure would be fun to watch again, simply for the nostalgia of it all... :)

I have a video a friend gave to me with all of the clips on it from all of the songs. I also have the boxed set that has all of the songs. (It's shaped like a schoolhouse!!) If I ever figure out how to do it, I'll try to dub the tape for you, sweetie!!!

I don't watch Mad TV, but my daughter does. I'll have to ask her about that.

I have four of the Schoolhouse Rock video tapes: Grammar Rock, Science Rock, American History Rock, and Multiplication Rock. Are there more available? I got mine from Columbia House video club.

When I taught English, I used the Grammar Rock video. The kids still love them.:D

I saw the last half of it. I laughed my arse off (you know, I never started using the word arse until I joined this board). It was great.

I have the history rock on video. It reminds me when the original got me through Ms. Ryer's 8th grade history class. We had to memorize the preamble to the constitution and recite it in class. Most of us just sang the song, "We the people, in order to form a more perfect union..." I still remember it!!

Good Times!!!

I wish I had seen that! Sounds hilarious!! I am somewhat of a "Schoolhouse rock" collector. I have all of the videos, the CD box set, "Schoolhouse Rock Rocks" and various Tshirts, trinkets and books about the series. I joke with my husband that most of what I know I learned from Schoolhouse rock.
