I'm on one of my Madonna kicks, and I haven't seen this posted yet, so here it goes, What is your favorite Madonna album from the 80's?

The only one I own...her self-titled album!

I went with "Like a prayer" because of the Prince duet!

My favorite is Like A Virgin.I still have True Blue,Like A Virgin and you can Dance albums that I brought from the 80's!There all tape cassettes so I'm thinking of replacing them with cd's.

True Blue for me...my favorite Madonna songs are on that one (except who's that girl and Like a Prayer) :p

I collected all her albums in the 80s... but it's quite difficult to compare it, each one is so different in style and music!. I've voted for the first album, funny dance music... although surely the songs of "like a prayer" are quite better...

I voted for True Blue, as my favorite Madonna songs of all time, "Open Your Heart" and "Live to Tell" appear on that album!!! To me, the album True Blue really defined 80s Madonna. :)

I voted for "Like A Prayer". I loved this album, it was Madonna's most personal and thought provoking album to date. You could feel her joy and pain in every song. This album should have been nominated for a Grammy! "Express Yourself" is my favorite track followed by the title track. This is a must have in everyone's collection!! :thumb:

I voted for her first album. I love almost all the songs on it from "Borderline" to "Burning Up". I love all her albums, but this is the one I listen to the most.
"Like a Prayer" was the first Madonna tape that I bought. I love the songs "Cherish", "Express Yourself". I agree that this was one of her most personal albums. It gave us a more personal view of Madonna.

I went for Like A Virgin. I bought that tape before her first one.

My Vote goes to "True Blue" although I accidently picked "Like a Prayer" :(

It was the first Madonna album I bought, and also one of the first albums ever that I could listen to without fast-forwarding through a less-than-perfect song.

I voted for Like A Virgin, but it was very close race between that and True Blue.

I have every Madonna album but this one the the second I bought (the first was Bedtime Stories). I just love the song "Where's the party" and the different version of "Everybody" :thumb:

Definitely "True Blue" for me... I can listen to every song on that album and never get sick of them.

I have every Madonna CD except for Erotica, my FAV of all time is Like a Prayer!! I can remember my best friend got it before me and I begged my parents for it, they never did buy me that tape, so I bought it later on in life :(

True Blue for me!!! Holds all my fave madonna songs on it... quite possibly an era of my least fave madonna look though!!
