I just saw Kenny Chesney with Sara Evans and Carolyn Dawn Johnson last night. The 80's were not forgotten as Sara Evans asked the crowd if there were any children of the 80's, to which I screamed wildly, and proceeded to play the Go-Go's "We got the beat". Then to start his show, Kenny Chesney's crew played "You shook me all night long" and the crowd went crazy. next he started the show by playing a clip of "Let's go crazy" by Prince, to which I screamed wildly again! That went into "Cowboy" by Kid Rock and then the band started playing. Later he played a Conway Twitty song and ended the show, and I do mean his encore, with John Cougar's "Jack and Diane". In between sets he played songs like "Summer of '69" by Bryan Adams. It was great being an 80's fan and a country fan!
Wow! Sounds like a good time djdaffy!! I like both Kenny Chesney and Sara Evans, they're around my age and children of the 80's, it doesn't surprise me that Kenny did his 80's tribute. Kenny's videos have the 80's feel to them, they are colorful and fun lovin'! He's more pop country than anything else, in my opinion. Sara Evans has such an angelic voice!! I just bought her cd the other day! :thumb:
Sounds like a good time, dj!! We discussed Sara Evans in chat, so I will be nice and not go into that! ;) LOL I think my favorite Chesney song would have to be "That's Why I'm Here". I'm sure it was an inspiration to a lot of people, too, but I just loved it because of the story it told. :)
I should mention now, I love just about all the goofy/funny songs. I'm nutty like that. So in future, don't be surprised to see my posts that say, "I Love That Stupid Song!!" Like 'She Took It Like A Man' by Confederate Railroad. LOL

Val! I thought your favorite Kenny Chesney song was "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy"! LOL! :p
Daf, that sounds like it was a blast! (Note to self: start going to country shows again)
