WHat was everybodies choice for the best type of hairstyle from the 80s?

Was it "Jersey hair"? (big hair for those not from the north east)

or Molly Ringwalds short hairstyle?

what about (if anybody besides me remembers this one) the old asymetrical haircut. (one side longer than the other)?

Or what about the hairstyle (if you can call it that) where the girl would curl the bangs and front little section, but the rest was just straight on the sides and in the back.

Does anybody remember any other? Which did you guys like the best?

Also dont forget the just-out-of-the-shower uncombed wet hair look!
How about the tribal mini-braid look.
Then theres the verticle berette(sp?) look with ponytail! Oh man. i gotta stop

I had the ratted up bangs, held permanently in place with aqua net MAXIMUM HOLD. It looked like a rats nest! The sides were sprayed out to look like wings!!! Then on special occasions, Id break out the crimping iron or the banana clip!! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//yucky.gif

I did a range of different styles. Feathered on the sides......spiky.......and BIG TEASED Hair (I was a huge Vixen fan.) That was towards the end of the 80's.

Well being that I live in NJ, I have to favor the "Jersey Girl" look. It was funny, when I went to go see Bon Jovi in Philadelphia in November, there were so many women with the big hair and nails with the tight jeans, I thought I accidentally stepped back into 1988.
