Hey Y'all,

Does anyone remember a cartoon called "Pandemonium"? It was about a group of panda bears who were explorers, if memory serves. The show aired in 1982 or 1983. I remember liking this cartoon, but can't remember the specifics of it. Can anyone help?

Trixter, I loved Pandamonium! It's always so great to find someone else who remembers the show. It's very rare now on video, since it only aired from '82 to '83. (I think)

Pandamonium on Yesterdayland (http://www.yesterdayland.com/popopedia/shows/saturday/sa1486.php)

On Big Cartoon DataBase (http://www.bcdb.com/pages/Other_Studios/M/Marvel_Productions__Ltd_/Pandamonium/)

...a highly recommended site, it's very well researched & documented.

Have you ever seen the South Park episode with Robert Smith and Mega-Barbra-Streisand? The first time I saw it, I was yelling at how they ripped off the Pyramid of Power from Pandamonium.

Hey, finally, another "Pandamonium" fan! :thumb:
Mary, you commented on the 'South Park' episode "Mecha Streisand" I had no idea they were makin' fun of the pyramid of power! Makes that episode all the more funnier!!
Also thanks for posting the links, I have actually been to Yesterdayland before a while back, but forgot my way there. Boy it brings back so many wonderful memories. It's great to know that someone else remembers this short-lived cartoon gem! :)

If I could find my box of Star Wars comic books (they are around here somewhere!!) I'd have a Saturday morning line-up ad from 1982, with a great picture of the pandas and the kids. Pandamonium was such a fun show, imaginative & original, though the pandas' British accents kind of threw me for a loop sometimes. "I say, Algernon!" LOL
