It was a pretty good show overall too though I guess. I laughed my ass off when I saw 'Donkey Lips' on that show they used to have on MTV 'singled out' a while back (haven't watched MTV in about 3 or 4 years, so I don't know if it's still on or not) :p

I grew up on shows like that, that and "Hey dude". :D

OMG Ted....I loved Hey Dude!! I watched that and Salute Your Shorts....I don't know why....though I also loved Saved By The Bell.

Oh yeah! I thought I was the oldest person who had ever watched Salute Your Shorts ;) I was 16 or so when it premiered. (I also watched Fifteen, Hey Dude, and Clarissa Explains it All, though only at home & by myself so none of my friends would find out... hehe)

I went to summer camp every year as a kid, and I think they did a wonderful job of capturing the atmosphere. Danny Cooksey was So funny as Budnick. He does animation voices for Disney now-- he's the voice of my favorite character, Milo, on Pepper Ann.

Oh man! "Salute Your Shorts"! I used to watch that when I was like 7 or 8 or so. That and "Hey Dude" and "Clarissa Explains It All". I don't remember the episodes that well, but it was a favorite of mine "back in the day". :laugh:
