I've played this game quite a few times in the '80s.

I've even played it at least once in the '90s!

Centipede was my favorite game in the 80's! I remember playing it in the arcades and on a friend's Atari. I found a version for my Sega Genesis, now I play that every once in awhile.

I must seem like a broken record by now, but thanks to emulation...:lol:...I have the original arcade version :) Was playing that about a month ago. Gotta love the classics! :cool:

Yeah, those spiders move fast.

You can download centipede for your computer. If you look on any search engine for "champ centiped-em" you can find a good dos clone. Also, the new Hasbro centipede isn't too bad. It has an arcade mode which is a 3D version of the arcade.

If you want a copy of the game for your computer, you should look into either (or both) or these.

I used to play this for hours. Simple gameplay with lots of hours. It was probably also one of the more difficult games of it's time. :vibrator:

I've never been attracted to Centipede. I know it's a classic and has been ported pretty much everywhere, but it's not for me.
