My debit card expires this month, and I did talk to the bank, and they said it's good until the end of the month. They're going to send me a new one later in the month. Well, I use my debit card as a credit card sometimes, when I do some online shopping, and my card was rejected due to my card expiring. Has anybody had this happen to them, and what do you do? I'm really worried, because my internet account is on my debit card, and I really don't want to lose it.
Sounds like a misunderstanding on the bank's part... I'd get back with your bank and let them know this happened... I hope it all works out well for you! :)
Raise hell with the bank. Banks are such slackers these days which really sucks. You should receive your new card the month before it expires so that there is no drop in spending! ;)
I wouldn't call them again. I would just go there personally and tell them your problem. They are there to serve you.

Well, I finally got my new debi card, and everything is fine. I talked to the cashier at the bank, and they said that my old debit card is good until the end of the month, and they wished they had the whole date on it (01/31/02) instead of 01/02, because a lot of places don't think that 01/02 means that it lasts until the end of the month. So my new debit card is now good until 01/04. :)
