Alright everyone. Don't take this for more than what it is. I still want all of you postaholics and postamaniacs to... POST! :p :p

But, I've completely pulled all advertising of 80sxchange.com for the next few weeks or so. Not that we have much advertising, but it does pull in 4-6 people per day. Whether these are all signups - I don't know for sure..

Anyway. We're closing in on 9000 pageviews per day. AND - since the current version of UBB (this message board) is a bit server intensive, it's getting slow.

Beyond this, the web host company sent me a very polite and light complaint. They're asking me to upgrade to a newer version which is less server intensive. In time this will happen.

Right now, if I were to upgrade, we'd lose our Calendar and a few other nice options. I'm going to stick it out until there is an updated NEW version with these features.

So, if you see less signups over the next few weeks, this is why. As soon as we upgrade, I will get our advertising going again.

Our advertising is FREE with Link Exchange. If you want traffic to your site, it's a really great system...
