Hi everyone. I'm going to start a new (little) idea and I want to get your opinions on it.

First, I know. I am always getting a bit ahead of myself. Especially when I'm having trouble making it past the General forum lately! Time is so hard to come by..

But! I'd like to add a section to the website where any active member with a business can advertise. I'd like 80sXChange to be a place where you benefit from being a member; not only from the great community we have here, but in as many aspects of life as possible. It's certainly not easy to do that over the internet, but I figured that if any of you have a business, maybe I could help get the word out a bit...

Opinions, comments, and suggestions are welcome...

I think that's a great idea!

I'm in school studying graphic art & design. I'd like to (some day!) design fliers, album covers, logos, websites, etc. for bands.

I think that the internet is going to be the main way that unknown bands are going to get their music out. It seems that MTV & mainstream radio refuses to give them a chance. Just my opinion. I've also begun to think about putting out an underground magazine that features only unknown bands, esp. bands that are heavily influenced by the 80's.

We'll see what happens.


Anyway, I think you're definitely on the right track!
