I'm in an odd spot right now. I have tendonitis in my right wrist and shoulder plus I'm right handed. Makes my job very difficult for me. I work as a cashier right now. Love my job. Love getting to work with the public. Realistically though I need to look for something new. Anyone have any ideas on a job that would be easier on my wrist?? Will listen to any suggestions.

Sounds like we have a similar problem, Jazz. I quit Dell Computer Corporation because my right wrist and hand could not take the repetitious movements anymore (that wasn't the only reason I quit though). To this day, when it is cold outside I wake up with my hand feeling real stiff. I am probably getting arthrits. Definately find something else that won't bother it. I have been trying to work office jobs doing filing and typing so i'm not always doing one particular thing. Also, it is important to do stretching exercises for your wrist. Move it around when it starts to hurt. That is what is a bummer, once it is like that you are usually stuck with it.

Hey, Jazz. I would think that maybe you could go to your local hospital and speak to a physical therapist and find out what kind of positions would not irritate your condition.
