I'm shopping around for a provider for a free fantasy NHL league. I know it won't be as popular as Football, but I'll set it up if anyone else is interested. The season starts today, so let me know soon. :)

Great, guys! I don't know nearly as much about hockey, so you guys should be able to stomp me easily. :)
Good suggestion, Flix. I have set up leagues in Yahoo & CBSSportsline.com, everyone can check them out & tell me which one you'd prefer.

The yahoo league is 80's Xchange Hockey League (League ID# 40922). The password is: xchange. I picked an offline draft, but we can do that here, unless you'd just like to go with an auto draft done by the computer. (That might work well, actually).

The sportsline league is at cbs.sportsline.com, and is called 80s Xchange League with the same password. Since I didn't think we could handle a live online draft, I had to chose the auto-draft (which is set for 6am EST Monday).

Either way, the stats will accrue from the draft, so we won't be behind. Let me know your choice & please give me any other suggestions.

BTW, congrats, flix on last week's football score! :)

I would personally go with the Yahoo league. It's far easier to administrate than the Sportsline one. I will join your Yahoo League ASAP, Nolan. :)

Just joined the league with my team "The Toothless Tigers". Why dont we just auto-draft as soon as we have more people there?

Ok, yahoo it is! :) I've changed the draft to auto, it will not begin until I tell it we're ready. I'm gonna post about the league in the Member's Louge to see if anyone else wants to join. I'll give it some time before I begin the draft....how does Monday morning sound to you guys? All of the stats will accrue after the draft, so we'll all start off on the same point.

Ok, if anyone else interested in joining this league, go to yahoo Fantasy Hockey (http://hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/hockey) & join league #40922 (the password is: xchange). The draft will be on Monday morning about 6am so please have your team in place before then. The draft will be done automatically by the yahoo server & we will be assigned players. The stats will begin to accrue with Monday's games, so we will start on an even footing.
One other note, if anyone would like to request a change in the league format (# of players, positions available) please let me know before the draft). Thanks & good luck! :)
