I am a HUGE superbike racing fan and one man (IMHO) is the all-time GOD of riders. Mick Doohan! Unfortunately, for a couple of reasons, I have had to lay off of watching for the last two years. I finally got to catch a race the other day and saw almost all of the familiar names - Miguel Duhamel, Doug Chandler, etc... I did not however see the man himself - Mick!
Can anyone tell me if he was just not racing that day? Please don't tell me that he retired or something and I missed his last race.

Super Bike racing is like Nascar. Only they have the stones to do it on 2 wheels (sometimes only on one). Can you imagine 500 laps on a crotch-rocket? Talk about saddle sore! I get sore after spending 5 or 6 hours on mine.

Could be "Super Bike: World Championship" or Motoracer". I've played a couple. They're really fun when I don the 3D glasses I have for my system.

Just been doing some surfing thru some old threads and found this one. Being a self confest motor head, I might be able to help you out, if you're still around.
O.K., first things first, Mick Doohan never actually raced superbikes on a world level, he raced 500cc Grand Prix bikes, where he was 5 times world champion.
He retired at the end of the '99 championship season. For me GP racing hasn't been the same since.
