How many people have Lava Lamps? I got one X-mas last year. I can't believe I never had one before.

We actually have two in the house. Mine is red lava with yellow water on a black base. My boyfriend's is black lava in clear water with a skull base.

I had one as a kid.....don't have one now though. I thought they were kinda neat. I remember sitting in front of it and just gazing at it all mesmerized. My mom was afraid of me hypnotizing myself with it. :)

I have one now, it's red lava with red water. :)

I've always hated lava lamps....thought there were way too 70s looking, BUT a week ago I got a glitter lamp. It's similiar, just has pretty glitter inside instead of the gooey "lava".

After I got it, my b/f decided he wanted a lava lamp (I was like....oh no!!...yuck)....but he got a really nice one that I actually love. It's on a white base and has gorgeous blue/purlple lave in it.

They are very safe, just don't leave them on when you're sleeping or when you're not around.

I have a blue one...very mesmorizing little thing, I'll give it that...lol. I don't watch it as much as when I first got it, but every so often I'll have to pause a look.. :p

My brother had one when I was little, but I never did. I've been kind of wanting to get one 'tho. My son really likes them and the air bubbly things with the changing colored lights.

Sure. I have one. Mom and Dad got it for me when I was in college. Great Christmas present. I love to zone out and stare at it. It has blue liquid with white goop. Very relaxing.

I love lava lamps. I have one with a silver base and hot pink lava. They were all the rage a few years ago so I got one for Christmas. I would love one with purple lava and silver base. I gotta dig mine out again!

We still have our original lava lamp from the 70's. Gold base with red lava.

I bought a thing similar to a Lava Lamp in Florida a few years ago called a wave, it's a rectangle that rises horizontally and produces a blue wave inside the glass rectangle

I have a purple one with a silver base that sits on my bookshelf in my office & my when my husband was in Denmark, he bought me one that has a black base with white glowing lava - it's totally trippy :D

I have one it's blue-ish purple.I used to have an orange one to but my cat knocked it over and messed up the liquid inside it wasn't the same after that so I gave it away.I think that alot of people have one.
