Okay... here goes.. drank my decaf, watched the news, checked my e-mail.. responded to a few posts here on the xchange, got dressed and went to work from 9-6 where I warmly greeted customers, helped them choose glasses, made some glasses, adjusted some glasses, (made lots of $$$ today) ;)

Went to Taco Bell for a Taco Salad... (been craving that all day for some reason),

Came home.. had to run to the garage door because it was raining, my front door lock is broken therefore the door is not in use right now.. so in the rain, I had to lift up the heavy garage door in the rain to get into the house. (no electric opener)
dried off... checked the mail (snail mail), wrote out some bills, (gas, electric, and cable), got into my pj's.. and now I am reading and responding to posts! AND drinking a YooHoo.

Okay.. that pretty much sums up my day..

Woke up at 6:30 AM, checked the message boards, made appropriate posts. Went to work, came home on lunch hour, check the message board again. Went back to work, finished my day, returned home. Checked messages again at 8:30 PM until sign-off...

Woke up late...was grumpy with hubby for shutting the alarm(s) yes more than one off and not putting them on snooze. Jumped in the shower, packed lunches, signed school journals, ran with the kids for the bus, ran for my bus read from my book (me time :) ), watched people act like jerks to pregnant people, got off the bus grabbed a coffee (Xlrge and a plain bagel) ran to work.

Tried to find a nurse to work, implimented some SOP's, chased nurses who were behind in their training...

Got off at lunch time because I have to go back tommorrow to train some nurses. Had take out lunch with hubby in car and joked about parking somewhere - nah we always joke about but haven't done that in years :)

Came home posted closer to 1000 (not quite there at this point). Went to the hospital to meet my dad who came up for a CATSCAN, tried to convince him not to go to Florida this year - Lost :( Met the kids getting off their bus. Went looking at telescopes with my Dad for my son's x-mas/birthday present... Came home had dinner. Parents went back down south. Posted for a while got sore butt...

Watched This Hour has 22 minutes with new addition Colin Mochery, watched the rest of the Mole (yawn), watched Thats Life. Almost fell asleep cat woke me up and here I am posting :)

I like Viljis idea too. Today I was plotting to take the fashion world by storm with these neat rhinestone and studded decorative bra straps we got in. Instead I had a bunch of old ladies in who would NEVER let their bra strap show, no matter how cute. I'll update you tomorrow on my plot to conquer the fashion world! :eek:

I got up, mumbled until I had my coffee. lol Posted on the boards briefly before heading out to spend 8 hours in retail hell. Watched the second half of the Blazers game when I got home. Took a hot bath and then an hour long nap. Got up to post some more.

Nothing too exciting here. Get to work again tomorrow. Will pretty much be the same kind of day. lol

My hubby and I took my mother-in-law to breakfast this morning then showed her our new house. We had fun. Then we ran errands all day. I came home and made chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and then started posting! ;)

Posting is mentioned so much cause we're all addictited to it!!! LOL I know I am. Love this place. Come here at least twice a day. :)

Okay, it´s Monday morning here...so I will tell about yesterday.

5:00 am - woken up by a hungry cat. After having that damn cat butt in my face for the third time, I actually got up (ignored the trashing from the kitchen for 5 minutes before), feeding the beasts.
5:15 am - logged in to the net, checked the 80sxc board and the weather, activated the AG Satellite, then returned to bed.
7:30 am - this time, my girlfriend woke me up (not with her butt in my face... :p ). Missed the start of the last F1-race in Suzuka, but Schumacher saved my day once again (much to the disappointment of my g/f :D). In the meanwhile, checked the board again and searched for new tracks via the Satellite.
about high noon - went back to bed. Leafed through a few pages of a book before falling asleep again.
6:00 pm - out of bed again. Lunchtime. Watched TV, surfed a bit through the net. Snuggling up to my g/f on the couch...aaah, I simply love such quiet days. ;)
10:00 pm - back to my natural habit...the bed. Grabbed the book again. More snuggling up. :)
Midnight - Lights out!

If my weekdays wouldn´t be basically the same, it might have been a special day for me... :(

Poor Wave. ;) Sounds like a nice to me. Wish I HAD someone to snuggle with. lol Just no good guys here where I live.

I can head off to bed now though. Reached my 1800 goal for tonight with this post. :)

Well lets see, Since I had my nephew all day. We watched Scooby doo video for the umteenth time! :p Posted...chatted in chat room. Washed laundry. Went to Bill's(local bar) to play video games with my nephew. Cut my brother,nephew,brother's fiance and her daughters hair. Came home took long hot shower! :D Cooked today's dinner. Posted and chatted some. Went to bed about 10pm. :)

Today: gave one of our nurses a good send off. She's leaving on maturnity leave - lost the baby pool :)
Prepared the schedule for Northern Ontario for December and January - preparing to hear backlash for weeks to come.
Went and rented Briget Jones Diary and The Mummy 2 to watch. Watched Jones...by myself someone went to play video games. Watched the Mummy 2 pretty much by myself - he fell asleep. Started to head upstairs but the glow of the computer caught me. I need to go to a meeting soon - PA :)

I'm gonna start from yesterday afternoon.

Left office at 4:00. Underground fire. No north-south subway service out of the downtown core. Shuttle buses full. All taxis on call. Walked for 45 minutes and finally found a taxi. Couple of beers and went home to fall asleep watching Billy Elliot. Woke up. Pouring. Terrible traffic. Demonstration at City Hall (right in front of our building). Bay Street closed. Traffic all messed up. Cops and Swat teams everywhere. People arrested for carrying molotoff cocktails and miscellaneous home-made weapons. Cops checking work ids to get into building. Still pouring at 2:45.

Sometimes, a day can just plain suck.

Leaving to watch some Champions League football. Liverpool game not available.

Dang Bogie, carry a camera and make a movie! That sounds like a terrible day. I hope everyday isn't like this one. Here's to a better tomorrow! :)
So, far today I have just helped a lot of customers, printed out a ton of sales reports and now eating my peanut butter and jelly sandwich and posting. :)

Bogie I know some of the people who went down there today to peacefully protest against the Ontario governments war on poverty. What I saw on the news tonight was a nightmare. Yahoos always have to show up and ruin things. I don't know who it was burning and desecrating the flag but they should be punished. I was embarrassed and sadly the point of the protests is lost.

I apologize to anyone in the states seeing this footage. Canadians are not like this.

Today: Took the day off to go with a dear friend for her biopsy. Cried a lot.

Wow, I didn't realize this was going on in Canada. There are always a few idiots just waiting to ruin things! Zel, I hope your friends biopsy turns out ok. It helps to have friends there with you.

Nobody blames everyone Zel. We all know it only takes a couple of idiots to make things go wrong. :) Although, we are still not sure why people think that interfering with Torontonians trying to get to work is going to further anybody's aims in the first place. We're just working slugs too. ;)

Have an appointment at 1pm to get my eyebrows waxed. Need to carve my pumpkin, back for my trip. Buy last minute things for my trip. lol Make my last appearance in chat for 5 days. Need to get my fix before leaving. ;) Pretty much I'll just be getting ready for vacation. :) :) :)

Here is my evening ...worked from 9am to 5pm. Came home cleaned apartment. Fed fish and cat. Checked e-mail. Now i'm posting! :p LOL I plan on going to bed about 9pm. I have been really tired lately. I think I may be catching a cold? Tomorrow is much the same except I have to work until about 6pm. Maybe I will rent a movie...any suggestions? This weekend my mom and I are going out to eat and see a movie. Im 31, single and on the weekends I go out with my mom! :rolleyes: LOL

Today (in a nutshell) I worked, ate, posted and will go to bed.

I think going out with your parents is cool. I'm 29, single and even had my mum over at parties where *she* was urging people to drink up. Ditto my dad. His comment on my male friend's boyfriend: He's more effeminate than your friend. Not bad considering he's well past retirement age.

My day? Trying to find an 80s advert featuring a certain male model for my class project or failing that trying to find the Obsession ad that also had Lara Flynn Boyle in it. Or was that an advert? Can anyone help? Is she still going out with Jack Nicholson? or is that really out of date?

Yesterday I woke up my usual time... 5am.
Took a shower .. woke up the kids..
fought with the kids.
Watched 5 min. of the Today show.
Drove the boys to middle school then dropped Logan to the day care center.
Went to work.. worked out at lunch... picked up Logan from day care at 5:10.. picked up boys from middle school. Did some laundry, while it was washing I had to drop off Nathanuel at Basketball try outs. Went back to finish my laundry.. picked him at 7:30. Took them out to get something to eat. Got home at 8:30. Did the house work. Finally sat down at 10:00 to see ER. Went to bed at 1am.. and then got back up at 5.
I am wore out...

Slept in today. Got up made coffee went on the board (thanks Roem & Sal).
Showered, shaved my legs, goopy facial stuff, coffee (just hook up the IV).
Went to a few yard sales, bought a pumpkin.
Visited a friend of ours for like 2 minutes (her son has scarlet fever).
Made supper and watching the kids dig out pumpkin seeds while I post :)

I love Sundays :)

My typical day:
wake up, drink a gallon of coffee, be at work at 5am, work, work, work until after dark, come home, tuck the kids in, post for a little while, pass out. :eek:
Tomorrow will be different, its my daughter's birthday party/ sleepover. The theme is butterflies (I know ?). We have butterfly balloons, butterfly decorations, and butterfly cake. They will make butterfly tie-dye shirts and butterfly bead necklaces. And guess who gets to decorate the house? :) Oh well, it'll be a fun day!! :)

Woke up at 4:45 am, got on internet to reply to posts here, showered, dressed, sped to work and made it on time at 6:30 am!! :) Greeted co-workers, turned on computer, put on cd headphones and let the glow of the screen mesmerize me for 5 hours until lunch. Ate some soup and crackers, read sales ads. Work ended at 3pm, went and visited parents at their business, went to post office to mail off resume (hoping to get a job with benefits!), came home and posted for a while, watched some tv, visited with a friend, played with my dogs, posted some more here and I am now going to sign off for the night. Goodnight everyone! :)

I can relate! :) I wake up every morning at 4:45 am for work and on the weekends I'm lucky if I can sleep past 7 am!

This morning I got up at 7:15 (yahoo, an extra 15 min. :) ) I turned on the internet and started reading and posting. A few minutes later Iluvthe80s appeared in the 80sxchange and put a smile on my face. :) Posted some. Took one of my Doxies for a walk, the pup is hyperactive!! :) Turned on the web again and posted some more. Ate some toast. Read more posts. And now I'm going to read the Sunday paper.

This afternoon, I've got about 35 presents to wrap. That will take a big chunk of my day. I will probably put on a Christmas movie while I wrap and then post some more later.

That is funny because the feeling is mutual when I saw you on here. It is so nice to finally have an admirer! I enjoy your posts! :)

Weekends for me are not much different than a regular work day except that there are no bosses around and it's a little quieter. I get to post earlier too since I work 8 hours on saturdays and 4 to 6 hours on sundays. I usually don't start posting till 8 or 9pm during the week, and hit the sack by midnight or one o'clock.

And TC had me on my knees for a long time too. I can't get 'em clean! :eek: :D

Today I got up at 11:30 and called my best friensd in Florida. Made my coffee and played cribbage on my comp for a while. Looked through the paper and watched some tv. Taking it easy today cause I managed to twist my knee some how. Thinking about rearranging my room this evening. Need to do my laundry. Just another day off. lol Go back to work tomorrow. Also need to go grocery shopping.

Well, got up.... did a bit of stalking....went out, came back, did a bit of stalking.... went out again and came back...... Ah this is getting a bit repetitive I think......

Got up at 6 am and got ready for work. Spent some time in the xchange before I went to work (had to catch up on daily posts and stalking Trixter he! he! ;) ). Went to work and it was just another day. Then had to fight 5:00 traffic on I-35 here in Austin. :eek: Oh how I hate that! Came home. Spent time with Fidget the cat. Cooked a frozen pizza and have spent the evening on here. I'll probably be going to bed about 10. I'm doing some overtime tomorrow and will be going into work earlier. I will have to get up at 5 am. :eek:
