We have been through a lot of topics the last little while and we seem to be getting to know each other pretty well.

Are there things here that you have shared that your friends don't even know?

Funny but I tend to be more revealing here than I ever have to people I've known for a long time. Perhaps its because we all love the 80s so much that I feel the part of me that is a complete 80s girl only comes out sincerely on the board. I have some pretty good friends but we mostly do things together, discuss politics, shop, swab magazines and books but I don't think I've ever discussed my family like I have here :)

I tell pretty much everything to you I would to my family. There are a few things I would like to keep to myself though.

Just putting this one back on the front page since it didn't get too many responses.

I love reading peoples' thoughts about the 80's. and the whole vibe on the boards here is very friendly.
there are opinions I've expressed here that I don't tell others. But only because they're focused on the present that they haven't asked. lol (which i don't much care for as far as movies and music, etc.)

there is so much more about me though, that i haven't shared here. I can talk about it on spiritual forums. It's pretty far out stuff that we talk about there. I guess there's a time and place for everything.
this place is fun and relaxing to me.

I'm pretty open...my good friends know everything I would say here. Right Taz? LOL...in fact, they know a little more than I reveal here...right Taz? LOL

Everything from me you can read here is also known to my (closer) friends. ;)

Of course, I can´t and won´t tell everything here. There are some very personal facts I do rather keep for myself, even my girlfriend don´t know all of them, for some reasons. (There´s no way of inquiring me further, Naughty Kitty! :p)

On the boards I reveal nothing more than I would in real life. On the chat with a few select people here, I open up a little more though at times ;)

My best friend knows everything about me. A few close friends here know just as much as she does!! :D

I think I'm a little more open here than with some people I know. Depends on the person. I have things that definitely stay hidden though.

Well, I have to say I think I post here more than I talk to my girlfriends. I am so busy with work and I can come in here anytime I have a min. and post away. It is amazing how much you get to know the people in here. I never imagined that would happen when I signed up for this. I had never posted messages before. I share everything with my hubby of course but he isn't that into the 80s.

The 80's is the key...it's our common bond that binds us closer together :D How many other decades can boast such unity amongst it's members? :)

As Sal said in his opening statement upon the launch of this site, "There is a special thing about a person who grew up in the 80s." :D

I keep some things to myself. Anything to personnal, I share only with special people :) I trust few people but if you are one of them, than I would tell you almost anything you asked about me. :)

Are those publications for nurses Zel?

I am a fairly private person in general. I don't discuss deeply personal issues with many people at all. Well, not with any sincerity anyway. I would have to say that I discuss less here than I do with close friends. But probably more than I would with someone who was just an acquaintance.

I guess I tend to be more vocal in expressing my opinions here on the boards than I do in real life. I suppose the relative anonymity of the message board is the reason why...

Nope. Anything I say here I would say in real life. That isn't to say that I tell people here everything either. I'm sort of a private person.

No, I reveal as much here as I would to my friends. Some of my friends have a bit of intimate knowledge about me, but not even my best friend or my husband know everything. They know only the basics of why I am who I am, and not much past that. When people care about you, things that hurt you are painful for them as well. I guess I don't want them to have to feel that way.

That's pretty much how I am...people (including parents, close friends, and relatives) know only what I allow them to know. Nobody knows even close to everything about me...

I have been open here to a point. There is so much in my life that are private and eary. I don't bring my personal issues here... there is only one person that knows me through and through and that is my best fried Viliji.

I probably reveal a little more here than I do to some of my casual friends, but that's because they don't ask the same questions or for my opinions on the same things.
I think my best friend who I talk to a lot still knows more. There are some things I wouldn't talk about here.
