I just got a phone call from MIL. Chooch's Grandfather passed away a little while ago. I don't know yet the funeral date, but within the week We'll be driving to California for the funeral. Please Give Chooch and her family thoughts and prayers to help her cope with this.

Funeral is Saturday. We will be leaving Wednesday and returning the following Wednesday.

I did the oil change, Flushed the radiator, worked on tires, etc. We're ready to roll. It's not just the funeral we were not looking forward to, but the long ass drive! (1,000 miles each way and I'm the sole driver).

Well, we are in a motel room in northern California as I type this up. Should be home tomorrow evening if all goes well. The service was good. At least 300 attended. (That's a conservative estimate.) Drove through central california with heavy side winds and a dust storm so I am beat! Chooch and I can't wait to get home!

We're home! FINALLY!!!! Left our motel room at 4 AM this morning, and shortly before 4 PM Arrived home! I'm beat (again....long drive peeps), probably gonna catch a few winks and get some rest before getting active online again.
