I wish I had better news, but Mom went back in to the hospital last night for another transfusion. This morning, when the nurse came to examine her and spoke to her, she made very little sence when talking. The nurse informed us that the way things looked now, she only has a month left.
Please say some prayers for her. You guys have been so much help and so supportive. Thank you all so much.

She is back in the hospital again and will be there til Saturday, when she will go to a nursing home where my Cousin works. I will give you more information as I learn.

She has stopped taking nourishment now and her organs are shutting down. The doctors seem to feel that it's going to be more like a matter of days. It's a very scary thing, but at the same time I can't help feeling a sence of relief because soon she won't be suffering any more. It's strange the way your mind works sometimes.

You know you are always in my thoughts & prayers!! Having been through this myself, you know I'm here for you ... any time ... day or night ... whenever you need!! You got my #!!

Strange as it sounds, this morning she actually wanted to eat something. She didn't get much sleep last night though, because she went in to kind of a panic. She said she was afraid to go to sleep, because she was afraid she might die and she didn't want too. I know at this stage, they kinda rally. I've gotta hand it to her though, she's fighting this thing more than I thought she would and that's great. At this point, you take every bit of good news you can get.

We all love you and are here for you :)

Please try and stay @ the hospital as long as you can with her!!

Still ... and ALWAYS ... in our thoughts & prayers!!

She passed away at 2/30 this morning. She rallied through part of yesterday morning and then fell in to a deep sleep. She never woke back up. Thank God she went peacefully. There was apparently no pain or anything.
Thank you guys for being so helpful and supportive throu all of this. You've been there for me from the very beginning when she had her heart attack last year through now and your kindness, friendship and support have made it much easier for me to deal with. God bless you all. You're awesome people and I love all of you. Thank you again.

I don't think anyone can ask for more than the most peaceful passing we can get when the time comes, and I am so glad that if she had to go, that it was gently.
