My middlest son is having an appendectomy tonight. It was caught early so it should be routine, but this is his 1st big surgery. My oldest son had his out in '06, so at least we've been here before.

Two of my sons were nail-biters, both had to have their appendix removed. Take home lesson here: don't bite your nails. ;)

Oh, Nolan :hug: I know it's nerve-wracking when it comes to kiddoes. The good thing is that this is such a routine thing for docs that they are really good at it. Best wishes.

Well, at least he gets ice cream. No wait, that's tonsils. Hope all goes well Buc.

I bawled like a baby when my kid had to have his tonsils and adenoids out and ear tubes in. :lol:

Jordan came through the surgery ok and is resting as comfortably as possible under the circumstances. :-)

I'm here @ the hospital and he's doing well. He's actually been quite a trooper for a 16 y/o, teenagers can be bad patients sometimes. :lol:

Thanks everyone for all of the encouragement, it was nice to read during something like that. He's at home and healing nicely. They say he can go to school Monday if he feels up to it. :thumb:
