View Full Version : What's your Halloween Costume this year?
xistenza 10-07-01, 03:51 PM So, what's your costume (or your children's costumes) this year?
I'm either going to be a Powerpuff Girl (Blossom's my fav, and I've got the red hair already) with 2 of my friends dressing as Bubbles and Buttercup.
OR
I'm going to dress up like one of the members from Kraftwerk (german electro-pop band) from the Manmachine Album cover. :)
Jazzmyn 10-07-01, 05:19 PM I'm either going as an 80's metal chick (big hair, ripped jeans) or something with a gothic look. Not sure yet. Either way it'll be fun. :)
Ted Nugent 10-07-01, 05:55 PM I'm wearing all black with my boots, chains, and my handcuff belt, with a mask called "The bondage Vampire". :) it has a bitt in his mouth and everything! lol
And I'll be walking around Salem on Halloween till midnight. so if ya see me say Hi! :p
I'm going to be Morticia! The kids always get a kick when I hand out treats this way :P
Jazzmyn 10-07-01, 06:21 PM Mortica is my nickname at work. lol Had thought about dressing up as her. :)
I am going to go as Galadriel, the elf queen from the Lord of the Rings. The best thing is, my friends are such Tolkien nerds, I won't even have to explain it! *g* Spent all afternoon Friday looking for good pictures of Cate Blanchett in costume. The only possible problem is that my hair isn't long enough... but my real hair would still look better than a wig.
There will definitely be pictures!
Iluvthe80s 10-07-01, 09:36 PM I probably won't dress up. I will do my usual and stay home and watch scary movies. Watching Halloween 1 and 2 is usually a tradition with me.
Not Man 10-07-01, 09:36 PM I am dressing up as a midget. :)

LOL!!!
I'm going as Paul Stanley again. I spent over $200 making that costume last year, to wear it only once would be a crime. So...i figure while I'm still in good enough shape not to embarrass myself wearing it, i'll give it one more time. When I start getting fat I can be Gene! ;)
Jazzmyn 10-07-01, 11:55 PM I just went out a bought a costume. Had to have it when I saw it. I'll be dressed as Incantasia sorceress of seduction. :) Seemed to fit me somehow. lol

Dude....FAT BASTARD! You HAVE to do it! I would pee in my pants if you walked in the party like that!
This will be the first year that i will be dressing up the kids. I don't know what to dress up my 3 year old...I am thinking maybe POOH!!
But i am sure he would rather want to be Spiderman or Superman.
Haven't donned a costume since about 1992. Man, Halloween was a great time to be a kid. Candy and mischief. Yup! Fun days.
Kayenne 10-08-01, 01:22 PM Last time I dressed up for Halloween was in 1992 too. Halloween isn't really celebrated in Denmark so I caused quite a stir as I walked through the city center dressed in black, with black & white striped socks, black pointy boots, powered hair, pale face, red eyes, blood veins visible, fangs, etc. This poor guy fell off his bike...*tsk* :D
If anyone dresses up could you guys post the pictures here it would be funny to see all the costumes...
Taz i would love to see your costume...
morningmyst 10-08-01, 04:57 PM Ok......this is boring, but I'll be a bunny again! :D Can't be scaring all the dogs and cats in the clinic!!

I haven't been trick-or-treating since '85 (at that time, I was 15 years old).
And...since I don't have any children (despite being 31 years old), I probably won't resume trick-or-treating anytime soon.

Wow...if you´re going to do this, please send me a picture, okay? ;)
Well, Halloween will be celebrated here only in one of the numerous Irish Pubs, the main time for costuming is Shrovetide here.
For a motto party last year (famous film-stars), I´ve dressed up as a Cyberdyne Systems 101, better known as T-800 or simply the Terminator.
The inevitable happened...on the way to the party, the cops pulled me out. I couldn´t withstand it - as the inquisiton was over, I left with a "Hasta la vista, baby..." :D
Let me know what you guys think. I want to make a US flag costume for my son, what are your thoughts on that?

I'd say, only if he wants to be a flag. If he doesn't then maybe get him a little flag pin to put on his costume and explain to him what the flag symbolizes and why it's important to us. :D
Ted Nugent 10-09-01, 04:20 PM Hey why not dress him up as Uncle Sam? :) lol
He doesn't like hats or I would consider doing that..
Here is a mean thought,, I am going to dress up my boyfriend as Bin Laden and see how many times he gets his ass kicked...
Sick I know.. sorry.. i didn't mean it..

Iluvthe80s 10-12-01, 06:22 AM I might be going out for Halloween after all. My boyfriend, a friend, and I were going to dress up as a 80's hair band. Big hair, ripped jeans, and all!

LOL!!! I love it!
Two years ago the guys went out before our halloween party and all came back dressed as very very ugly women. I have the pictures to keep them in line now too. They were soo ugly :)
Does your son have any ideas what he'd like to be Milani? Does he have a favorite show. My daughter now wants to be a powerpuff girl (I have only seen this show once) Any advice Xis? I was hoping she'd want to be a polarbear again but hey its halloween so she can be whatever she wants :)
