I mostly played video games on GOOD CONSOLES,i rang BBS's and had lots of fun!
I watched movies alot,rode my bike,etc :)
My first experience on the net was thru a local BBS that had access to the internet...
I still like to do alot of that stuff mind you :)
Before the internet? Well dang that is a long time ago! I use to hang out with Viliji at her house. She is the one that introduced me to the internet. Before the internet I had three small children so I was doing the MOM THING. Now two out of three are grown and out of the house lol .
Spare time?? :rollin: I DON'T have much, that's why this works out so well ... you can pop in any time you have a moment. You can leave it on & pop in & out all day!!
If I have any real time to do something, I'm out doing something w/ my family!!
I was pretty much the same as Dude in that I ran my own BBS. For those not in the know, BBS stands for "Bulletin Board System", and was pretty much the ancestor of boards like the xchange. They were locally owned and operated forums running almost entirely via Modem (Dial-up) many with multiple phone lines, some single phone lines. You'd dial in, chat, post messages, play games, etc. They existed up until the rise of web popularity virtually killed them off. I ran one from 1992 until 1997. it was called "the Asylum".
If not running the BBS, I was also playing in a few bands.

before the internet, I had a life, I played upwards of 140 games of softball every summer, and probably 30 games of hockey in the winter, I also worked out a couple hours a night at the gym. In addition I watched much more TV , and hit the bars on weekends.
I will not blame the internet on my change to a slovenlike existance, me getting the internet coincided with becoming a manager and starting a family , so the additional workload, and responsiblities, changed my life
Well, let's just say I single handedly controlled the unwanted cat population.
before the internet, I had a lifeAh man!!
I probably played a lot more video games.
And I used to do a lot more writing. That is one of the main negative things for me about the Internet.
