Ok...I'm late...Congrats Sarg!!!!! I took a couple of days off to give my aching fingers a break....but, now I'm back!!!!! <img src="eek.gif" border="0">

yeah......didn't do much on the computer....went to work, came home, went to bed, got up, went to work, came home...you get the drift. There are days like that...In fact, as soon as I got home last night, I had to go to an assembly at my kid's school. There was a Reptile Man who brought in snakes, and lizards and tortoises, and alligators......it was pretty awesome!!!!

Thank you guys and gals! I just got on here about a half hour ago trying to catch up on todays posts. I was at an awards ceremony earlier at my daughters school where she's graduating thursday with honors, so I probably won't be online much thursday until late for a few hours like tonight.

You guys are the best!

Sort of, about 13-14°C, or 52-54°F for you guys. I feel the cold real easy! Not nice especially when mum feels the heat more than I do. Only have the heater on if she's cold too. <img src="mad.gif" border="0"> Which isn't very often!

Poor Sheibub I know what your going through... Our furnace was broke down this past winter for the 3rd time in 5 years! So we used the stove & some space heaters. It was was way to cold here <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

My sister lives in Texas, I hear about people dying from the heat on the news so I worry about her a lot... I wish she didn't move there <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

I hate the cold. It gets so bad for me that even being wrapped in a doona, sitting right in front of the heater going full blast and I'm still getting goose bumps from being cold. Don't know why this happens some times. Thankfully it doesn't happen often but not nice when it does! <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Being close to the Antarctic we sometimes get the chilly winds from there. And BOY are they cold! Tassie's infamous for that kind of weather. Sunny and warm, then cold and raining the next!

If you are not used to it, it can affect you in some way. Me, on the other hand was born and raised with summers like this so it doesn't bother me. Unless you have a summer like last summer when we broke the all time record of 112 degrees one day. <img src="eek.gif" border="0">

Sounds like you're descibing the weather where I am Roem. lol Just went through that here. You get hotter in the summer though than we do here. Plus colder in winter. I prefer the warm weather myself.

Just a little curious Sheibub what is the average temperature during the winter in Australia? I remember here in the US....NY state to be exact about 5 or 6 years ago we had temperatures without the windchill reading something like 40 below zero(F) <img src="eek.gif" border="0">
The average temperature here during the without windchill is about 20 degrees(F). <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Um, depends on where in OZ you live. It's always warm in the northern half of course - about 75°F. Here in Tassie it get's down to about 35-40°F, the average though is 52-53°F. In the mountains of course it's a lot colder. The winds from the Antarctic make it a lot colder too. Freeze your tits off <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

So your winters aren't to bad compared to here. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Do you guys get snow? Here in NY we measure snow in feet not inches. I think the total snowfall for this past winter was something like 12.5 feet. <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> I am glad winter is over here. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Of course we get snow! Get a map and see where Tasmania is Not Man... <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> Central Tassie can get into the minuses, no further than 24-26°F I don't think.
