remember when cars would have the usual roll fdown main window, but also a little side window ( triangle shape) that would basically turn sideways. When did they stop making those types of doors or windows ?

My old truck was an 1986, it had the wing windows TXSweet 5-28-08, 09:51 PM I remember those ... and how about the vents in the L & R kick panels of the pick up?!?! With those & the wings open, you could get air flow through the cab w/out having to roll the windows all the way down. And ... remember riding w/out a seatbelt or riding in the back of the pick up ... WITH the tailgate down AND dangling your feet!?!?! Yet we survived!!! wavemaster 5-29-08, 12:53 AM Basically, the production of doors with turnable side window triangles ended when the calculators found out that doors with full rolldown windows are cheaper in production. It was even accepted that some models won't allow to roll down the windows completely.
