First, I'm getting a new pair of glasses. I went to the low vision clinic to see if I needed anything new to improve my vision. Well, my vision has changed slightly, so I need some more magnification. The low vision doctor also gave me a pair of reading glasses with really good magnification, which I'm using now. I also got a new magnifying glass so when I go to a dimly lit restaurant I will have something that will help me read. The magnifying glass has a little light on it. It's pretty darned awesome looking, IMHO. I also got these weird looking glasses that have a monocular so I can see further away. Those glasses I probably won't use as much as the magnification ones.
Secondly, I'm heading to my Mom's later in the morning (well it's after midnight here :lol: ). I'll be gone until Tuesday, but I will post occasionally here if I get a chance.

Is the magnifying glass thing like that credit card thing they show on TV? I dunno about fancy restaurants, but you sure could use one at Cracker Barrel and Outback. :lol:
