At last a band finally gets it right and proves that the old school and can deliver to their fans and perhaps to a new generation. This is a disk that screams to be played loud and does not forget its early roots, a good amount of 80’s sound along with some early whitesnake inspiration and new updated sound and experimentation. The band seems to want to move forward and evolve but plays it caucuses, trying to delver to their fan base yet trying to grow and evolve as a band. Coverdale guides the band through its paces with his gift for rhythm and timing like a Spanish horseman with slight movements getting his horse to perform complex routines. Coverdales voice has changed a bit since his last outing and although still good its not what it one was, which is confirmed by the included live disk, but his gift and experience trump any slight changes in his voice. Anyone even slightly interested should give the disk a listen it is worth the time for that at least but I think it should put a smile of the faces of fans.
