What was your favorite period during the 1980's???? Was it a year or just a few months????
Mine was a two and a half year period between the fall of 1985 and early 1988.
I met a cute blonde,i've never forgetten.I got hooked on wrestling, good days pretty much.
BTW-I've had a few dreams about a place that i lived there during that time.Has that ever happened to you???

I would say between 1983 to 1988 were the best. Lots of good things happened in that time period. Really all of the 80's were great for me! Got to the '90's...then it was another story. :(

I'm fond of summer of 1983 through all of 1984 and early 1985. Those were some amazing times!!! ;)

My son was born in 1987, that was a great but scary year.
But I would have to say the years before him were also great. I was young then and I had no problems. The only thing on my mind was to have fun and get a little crazy.
I didnt' have any responsibilities then.
1982-1986.

I think it's cool-you metioned your son milani.I hope the scary part wasn't too serious.
1984-1986 My band was one of the top draws in NY at the time. We were like stars to some extent. It was a good time...we were very popular if you know what I mean!!! :p

1984 through about 1989 (ages 14-19) were really cool years for me. That was a major period of discovery, making life long friends, learning the first bits of who I was and what I stood for, and diving in deep to the metal/rock scene (still haven't come up for air). There were so many parties, the kind where you all hang out and bond over dumb stuff as well as the let's get trashed sort. The concerts I saw back then were life changing and amazing and pure fun. How can you ever forget a Maiden show where Eddie takes a face dive right on stage? I loved those years so much. I keep trying to replicate them, but stuff keeps getting in my way. Darned work and life and stuff :p One of these days I'll figure a way to balance it out.
I kid you not. The whole period between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989. I absolutely had a blast the whole decade! :)
Had to be 1987 - 88.
I went flatting with an old school buddy nicknamed Mad Dave and we had the time of our lives.

I'd have to say 83-87 were the best times for me in the 80's! I was in the age range of 15-20, what GREAT times were had!

80-83 I was still in school, no responsiblities, and lots of partying with friends :)
86-89 has some very fond memories for me. :D

It was scary because i didn't know how to be a parent. I felt I was to young to know how to be a good one. But I made it through and he is 14 now and a very soft hearted young man. :)

I knew I was goin' to like ya ! In the 80s I was a kiddo ! the world was young and so was I ! born in 80, well, people of my family in britanny ( bretagne in France ) were old but still alive ! one of my cousin was still alive ( he died young during his sleep ) had no esponsability, everything was a wonder. By my 8 or so, I discovered heavy metal ( but only got into it at age 11 ). finding a job seemed easy, there was less insecurity. Well i liked the whole of it, music was renewing itself at a faster pace than today, there were greater acceptance ! My dad was still a young Conan ( I can't believe how big he is on the photos ). Rap was not a major trend. then i entered what we call 6eme ( don't know what it is in american school ) and things went kinda downhill. So even tho' I was a wee boy, I enjoyed every minute of it, and no, I didn't have a fav period !
