What are your must watch TV shows?

Mine are: Jericho on Tuesday night. I was so happy when they brought it back this season. CSI (original). Criminal Minds. Just got hooked on it recently. LOST. Can't wait for Thursday nights! I like a lot of crime and forensic shows. I also try to catch Intervention whenever I can.

I couldnt get into Jericho. Watched it for about 6 weeks and then stopped.

My favourites at the moment are:

Prison Break (Best program on TV ever. Has now surpassed all my favourite shows from the 80s)
Kyle XY (Got me hooked from the beginning)
Lost (Still can't miss it.)
24

I think I've discovered that what I like most is a continuing story where you just have to return each week to watch it. I think that these TV companies have picked on a formula that works rather than the serial type shows we used to get.

What I can't stand though are the crime dramas. There is a real glut of them at the moment and it's got to the point I just refuse to watch any new ones that crop up.

The only programmes i've gone out of my way to watch in the last few weeks are:
Grand Designs (People building their own grand houses from scratch):http://www.channel4.com/4homes/ontv/grand-designs/

&

The Long Way Round (Ewan McGregor & Charley Boorman riding their Motor bikes from England to North America Eastbound) http://www.longwayround.com/lwr.htm

Apart from that i'll watch sport. Don't watch or read fiction (apart from the classics) really, just seems to be a waste of time IMHO.

I totally forgot about Project Runway. That show is one of the better reality shows out there.
And I forgot about House M.D> and America's Next Top Model

Yeah, Project Runway is an amazing show. Its the best edited reality show on tv, imo.

One more to add to my list... "Bizarre Foods" with Andrew Zimmern.

When I have time, I love the following shows. Tivo helps a LOT to be able to watch what I want, WHEN I want, and HOW I want. I can't STAND watching "real-time" TV anymore...

House
Breaking Bad
Rescue Me
Ugly Betty
Greys Anatomy
Biggest Loser
American Idol
Mythbusters
How Its Made

Stuff I got hooked on when I was home sick last month:
Project Runway, Intervention, Bizarre Foods (yeah PG!!! ), A Cook's Tour, and pretty much anything on the Food Network, A&E, and Bravo (flipped back and forth a lot).

And I can stop on a dime with that thing now through the commercials!:laugh: ME TOO!! I'm so bitchy about it too... it drives me CRAZY when someone else is handling the remote and tries to fast forward, then stop after the commercials but goes too far into the show. :tsk: :mwaha: JUST...GIVE...ME...THE...REMOTE!! :dgrin:

I would watch TV if I wasn’t so busy boarding up the doors and windows. It would seem that Rick James and a legion of Zombies are trying to get in.:vampire:

I have the DVR box from Comcast. It's not as good as the one I had with the dish. And they just raised the price another 3 bucks a month, so it's $7 more than the dish. And it records 40 hours less of TV (when the summabitch decides that 1 hour isn't 'full') than the dish one. But I just unplug the %$&@!# and start over.

MUST SEE!!!!!

Grey's Anatomy
House
Law & Order SVU
Desperate Housewives
American Idol

I'll watch CSI on the rerun channel until the new shows I like come on. The same with Law & Order if I've seen the CSI already. If I can catch a new one of either, I will. I usually record the later shows and watch them whenever I see fit. It's awesome!

I like Flip This House, House Hunters, and those remodeling shows when I'm flipping around. Can't remember the channel, but I watch Snapped sometimes on the weekends.

OK, TEMPEST. WTF with all the Rick James stuff?!
