Hi,

New here and appreciate in advance any replies. I am a big music history fan and have one song stuck in my head, but just can't remember what 80s movie it is from, so I will describe it the best I can in the hopes someone knows it: This movie was American and from the 80s, the basic plot was high school age kids, and a guy ( I seem to remember somewhat nerdy), likes this girl who gets pregnant by another guy. The guy who gets her pregnant leaves her hanging, and the first guy lets her stay at his parents guest/ or summer house, and towards the end lets her know that he is willing to support the kid and be with her, only to find out that she is really stupid and is going back with the baby's father. It ends on that sad note. The closing music track is what I am after, it has lyrics something like "this ain't your town, this is my town, get out of here", or something close to that. Thanks alot!

Just realized I made a mistake in describing the plot, what happened was the girl wanted an abortion, and this guy paid for it, and then wanted to be with her only for her to go back to the guy who made her pregnant. I realize it will be a miracle if I ever find out what this movie was, much less the ending song, or if I ever stumble across it again on tv one day.
