Hey dude...nice to meet ya first off. I used to hang out in Houston alot back in the middle to late 80's. I was friends with a band from there called "Ripper". Have you ever heard from them? The guitarist was a really good friend of mine until he met this woman who converted him into a born again Christian, and he wouldn't talk to me anymore because I wouldn't denounce the "devil music" I was listening to! LOL...gotta love those born agains!
Anyway, I was wondering if you ever heard of them? I have a bunch of pix from when I was down there that I'm going to scan and post. You'll probably know most of the areas they were taken in! They're from a trip I took down there in 1987. (a young Pagan indeed!)

Pagan, a little off subject but... I'm a born again and I've never denounced any friends due to their music, beliefs or lifestyle. And I have friends from all walks. I just wouldn't want ya clumping all born agains into the same bad bunch he came from. ;)
Sorry Sure, I meant no offense! Up where I am, they all tend to get a little overbearing! Always trying to "save" me!

No offence taken at all. It's a shame it's the bad ones that always seem to surface cause they can be so "in your face." ;)
Well Pagan I have heard of Ripper. Although I did follow the band in any serious earnest. Would love to see the picks for some memories though! Great to meet ya man! I can tell you are well respected around here and just one righteous dude. Those pics will probably show Houston when it was a pretty cool town... now we have a Starbucks and Walmart where all the trees and cool places to hang out used to be!
As for you "Born Agains"... just kidding! LOL! :D
My family has quit trying to "save" me, they finally realized that I had a different purpose in life! ;)
Just one more reason to hate Starbucks :D

Plus they specialize in cream, sugar and chocolate, not coffee!
I like cream, sugar and coffee with my women, not my coffee... LOL! :D
I'll scan those pics and get them up soon Gman. They were great friends of mine until they borke up and went their seperate ways. Great image also, each one of them had professional quality makeup that made them into different horror characters. The lead guitarist was the Grim Reaper, the bassist was a vampire, the drummer was an executioner, and the rythmn guitarist was an undertaker. I have to get those pix scanned!
They sound killer, let me know! That is a need idea they had for the stage appearance.
